It seems you're ignorant/stupid enough to believe anything someone writes on the internet
Clearly not, as it is obvious that most of your rants are utterly ridiculous.there is always two sides of the story
There are often two sides to a story. You however are only interested in the side that slags off a particular side.your apparent personal crusade against the JCP/government.
Hysteria. Didn't say anything against jobcentres. As for the government, I wasn't silly enough to vote for them but those who voted for the LibDem liars will no doubt be crusading against their betrayal of everything they promised come the next vote.the internet however, is in a league of its own with regards BS.
You demonstrate the truth of your proposition. Discerning readers would look elsewhere.0 -
1. If you can't enter into a discussion, and instead simply try to cause an argument, then please feel free to take a trip down your local boxing association, where I am sure plenty of people would be happy to oblige. Or maybe even your local school??
2. I've yet to see you make a valid point in this thread.
3. Why don't you respond with something objective, something of value, instead of simply looking for an argument? Or is this because you have no credible input.
4. I guess we can all quite clearly work out you are on the side of the OP - you are obviously one of the morons who does not want to work, and wants taxpayers like myself, to line your pockets with gold.
5. Have you managed to work out the two sides to the discussion yet, or did picking up your giro delay the process?0 -
Hey all
Work program has nothing to do with jobcentres they are independently sought by the government. Job centrs have no durastricion or are able to take complaints or solve any as these are independant companies who take orders directly from whitehall. If you want to complain you have to contact the independant complaints comission http://www.ipcc.gov.uk/en/Pages/contact-us.aspx.
Please dont label jobcentre staff as scum as they have no responsibility over the work program feel free to complain though. by the way they can sanction heavily for non attendance and do this frequently again jobcentres cannot challenge this or help in any way as they are independant companies
I think you mean the ICE Independent case examiner http://www.ind-case-exam.org.uk/
They are the people who would investigate problems with the Work Programme providers.0 -
The majority of jobseekers do want to work, they dont however want to work for nothing at Poundland and Argos.
For those people who think that the unemployed should be sweeping the streets on their hands and knees for their JSA,how can you be so sure that you wont be on the dole in a few months time yourself? I bet your attitude would change a little then perhaps!.
The basic problem is the jobs are not there,so be careful working people, there are more cuts to come next year.0 -
It is worth mentioning what happened the next time he signs on. There is no need to be nasty or confrontational over it since if anybody treated me the way some posters talk about JCP employees, I wouldn't be inclined to help them either.
I attended a similar workshop run by a contracted company called Ingeus. The man who ran the session was perfectly nice but his session was clearly geared towards the older generation. In his own words, he mentioned frequently that "if you don't have relevant experience or a work history, you don't stand a chance in the job market these days. Why would anybody want to employ a younger person when they could choose somebody who has been doing the job for twenty years?"
It was intended to encourage the other seven people since they were all in their late thirties and above. As one of those, ahem, scumbag scroungers who came out of school and ended up on benefits six months later because I couldn't find a job suitable for a deaf seventeen year old, I felt discouraged by it. I happened to mention that towards the end of my next appointment and the Job Centre actually took note of it. They brought it up more than once in later appointments and they let me know a few months down the line that Ingeus had split the workshops in half; one for younger people and one for older people.
No need for insults or calling the people who work there scumbags or !!!!!es. They're all people just doing a highly unpleasant job.'til the end of the line0 -
the woman who is supposed to 'advise' him told him that she did not care whether he was ill his wife was ill or his 2 kids are ill, if he doesnt attend 'she' will stop his Jobseekers allowance.
Is there some context to this? Did she just walk up to him and say "by the way I don't care if you are ill......"
How did the conversation come about?0 -

What is the ratio between 'Paid Employes' and 'Slave Program' in your average Poundland?. I stopped off at the Poole Branch on Friday.
Saw only two paid members of staff (Working on the tills), The other seven ('Work Program' Displayed on their badges) were all putting stock out. No wonder unemployment going up, Why pay to employ someone, If you can get a free slave. If you look on the Poundland website and look at the vacancies section. There are no in store vacancies below 'Assistant Store Manager' for the whole of the UK.0 -
How is all this bickering helping the OP. People should just grow up and if they have nothing constructive to say, just move along to another thread0
