Real Life MMD: Friends won't sponsor me, should I say something?

In the past few weeks I have given money for the following - a firewalk, a cycle ride, race night, ben Nevis climb, sponsored walk, nursery chatterbox thing, marie curie danceathon, 'fill a smartie tube with 20p's', 3x race for life runners.

So I'm afraid if anyone else asks for sponsorship money, unless it's a close family member - I'm flippin skint!

Just because they have a decent amount of money doesnt mean they have to give to charity.

I agree - You can't judge like this... lots of people donate through payroll or support a specific charity due to historical circumstances.

I work in a large firm where people are always climbing Everest or some other pointless task and asking for money.. Drives me mad!:mad:

I choose who I give my charitable donations to, it's MY money!
