Can I ask what size primas you have and what size normal shoes you take? I really want a pair of primas, but am worried that I might "walk out" of them if I get a pair which are too big.

    Thanks

I bought my normal shoe size UK5/US7. Felt a bit neat when I first put them on but within half hour or so they were fine. Mould to your feet, possibly because of the heat of your feet.

How many pairs are you all buying at a time from Taylors? I'm thinking of getting 2, but at only an extra $5 postage for another pair.....then theres customs.....

I firmly believe that you only get what you pay for and now we are searching out a proper pair for DS. Not very MS I have to say.
Fitfeet have Caymans for kids at £17.
They didn't have my daughter's original colour choice, so I phoned them.
I told them them colours she would wear, and her second choice arrived today. She's delighted.
Also, she's a size 3, and I thought kid's crocs only went up to 1. Sure enough they're M3 W5. I'm so pleased I didn't splash out for an adult pair for her.

I think we should all be negotiating some sort of MSE discount here from Taylors - how much business are they getting as a result of this thread!! ;)

Varies - my last order took 6 working days. Got the e-mail on the 23rd April & shoes arrived yesterday. The ones before that customs charged me & held onto them for a week so they took just under 2 weeks to arrive.

how much did customs charge you? I want to order two pairs and was wondering what is the legal side with customs ?? if anyone knows,

    Thanks

    Hiya,

I said earlier in the thread about charges, was VAT, customs duty + a small charge from Parcel Force as they paid it to bring my parcel & then I paid them. £36.50 total however I had upped the ante slightly & ordered 8 pairs from Taylors, at £15 approx per pair I couldn't resist so even with the postage & charges they only came out about £20 or so each.

My Sassaris feel much better but am now having to wait for my blisters to go down before I consider wearing them again. Also can't wear my Cleos as my Sassari blisters are in the wrong spot for the straps.

Awaiting 3 separate pairs more, all from Ebay; Cleos for my brother's fiancée, Sobeks for my dad and my black/white Sassaris are all in the process of travelling towards me. Sassaris posted last Friday, Cleos Monday so would expect to get them midweek next week.

Thanks for the info but I can see myself getting into trouble messing with hot things & rubber. I'd be devastated if my Sassaris lost their shape as I have been waiting to buy them since mid Jan when the sales hype started.

Any goods purchased from outside the EC are liable for duty and in some cases VAT. If you have been sent a gift and the value is under £36 you will not be liable, over that amount you will be charged depending on the product. For purchases bought by yourself with a value over £18 you may have to pay duty depending on the product; it may also be liable to VAT. Under that amount you will not be liable.

Since it's not a gift but a purchase the allowable value is £18. It's just pot luck with the charges. I don't think they have time to do every single parcel...

Re: Customs charges. Was on pg 25.
