Oops just checked and my Beach are US 8 and then the Caymans are like you say 38/39, so I should go for US 7 then?
Got a pink pair in my basket, I really wanted the gold and chocolate but not in stock as yet0 -

I think the US size 8 would have been too big for me, but it is very difficult to judge. The US 7 is just perfect on me, not too big but not too small either. Taylor's do suggest you don't size up for these as they come up large, which is why I took the gamble on the smaller size.
It's a shame that you can't try these on like you can the Caymans as I don't think anyone has them on the High Street yet to be tried on.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm really panicking now, as I ordered a US 10, as I take a UK 7 nomally, Euro 40/41. I also went to the trouble of measuring my flips flops, to make sure the fitting was ok - centimetres wise.
Do you think I should drop down to a US 9 Soolin? :eek:Only 5% of those who can give blood, actually do!

US sizes are 2 sizes bigger than the UK so a UK 7 would be a US 9. A US 10 is likely to be big, but I wouldn't panic as the resale price of these on ebay means if they don't fit when they arrive, you can sell them on and not make a loss.
Anyway, it might be a personal thing as it doesn't really matter if the sizing is a bit big as they are open backed anway. I just prefer my backless shoes to be a snug fit which is why I chose to buy a size smaller.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. My Sassaris arrived! They don't feel very high. They seem great.
Yeay! - however a first. Taylors accidentally put in Scutes not Sobeks for my Dad
Oh no!
I've just read back through your posts and noticed that you are the same size as me, assuming that you went for the US9 in the Sassaris also, do you feel they are a good fit?
I'm hoping that Taylors will amend my order. *on hands and knees praying*

I've bought the Cayman crocs.
I'm a size 4 1/2 in shoes.
I've ordered a size 4 and 5. Now 4 feels a bit tight and 5 feels massive.
Also both are different, The 4's are made in china and have big nobbles inside them.
The 5's are made in italy and are more smooth inside. Which should they be.0 -
They should feel massive! As for the insides I can't help there as mine are made in Boulder, Colorado.0

Hiya,
Regarding the size it depends. I wear UK 7 US 9, my mum wears UK 6 and usually a US 8 but twice now I've bought her an 8 only to find that the 9 would be better. I couldn't get the Sassaris in an 8 but the 9 fits both of us quite well. They don't fit loosely like the Caymans but they still fit quite nicely. (Now I just need to paint my toenails!)
Dave at Taylors is great. I just rang as they cocked up my order slightly. I ordered Sobeks & they sent me Scutes by accident. (Can I just say that I've ordered about 15 pairs of shoes from them before & this is the 1st time they've ever made a mistake - & they sent me spare rivets when I asked them to!)
They're open at the moment, time difference means they're in KS open 9 - 9 which is 3pm to 3am our time. We're on Talk Talk so free international calls. Unfortunately no Sobek to be had for 1 month in my Dad's size so have kept the Scutes, ordered some Sobek's off Ebay and will let Dad choose on his birthday.0 -
Regarding the bobbles:
I have Mexican, Canadian, Chinese & US ones and they all vary from factory to factory. Don't worry about it.0 -
Also big news from Dave at Taylors:
No date available yet but they will be doing black/black sassaris!
How cool is that?!:T:j0
