I have some interesting (good) info regarding this "deal"...

I've done it 3 times now and was almost trouted on the 3rd. They only had 5 shots on display so when I asked if they had more moody SA1 said you only get 1 shot per 3 vits. I knew this was rubbish so she starts scanning them to check...uh-oh now the balance is negative...:eek:

Other nice SA2 calls Head Office and to cut a long story short they tell her that they must put the offer through as it is - ie free - and they must NOT mess with the total at all, Boots will honour their mistake and customer can have the stuff for free!

The best bit - overheard on phone this deal is unlikely to end in the near future...

I don't know how long but presumably as long as the offer runs then so does the glitch:T:T:T

Only bad thing was , moody SA put the whole thing through with my other bits and bobs but did it separately so no money off shopping:( but hey ho can't be greedy!! Yes the vits and shot sale did come up negative and no sadly they did say they couldn't refund it but I did get them for free...

Oh dear. My OH is like this too...even when I write him detailed instructions......i once sent him to get ONE thing with a coupon and he forgot to use the coupon......honestly!!

Still working in East Kent! I went to the big Boots at WWX and got another 12 today. They didn't have any of the cheap vitamin tablets so I tried it with the Ricola sweets and it's even better! They are also on 3 for 2 and on offer for £1 a pack instead of £1.45 so the tills take off the 45p's - well I couldn't make head or tail of all the discounts that came off what with all the 1.99s as well but I was very pleased with the end result!

Amazed that it is still working - this is the first big Boots glitch that I have been able to take advantage of and I am now stocked up with enough vitamins to last a year I think! I have been getting them for my parents as well and my children so have been spreading the good fortune around!

If I bought an expensive item to help hide the discount would I be able to return it for a refund a few days later ?

got 6 again plus natural collection blusher and 1 fcuk bodyspray. Had extra points fot these 2. cost 1.05.

I did see another product like shots but reenergise tablets. Had a label saying were free with vitamins. Only seen them in one store. seems like a possible option if shots run out. They are 10 tablets in a tube- berry flavour.

If i see them tomorrow, i'm going to try in a self scan.

Loving the freebies though am totally skint at the minute and this is light relief:beer: Also got this horrible bug that's going around:mad:

Quick question. Has anyone tried 9 vitamins and 10 shots? The reason I ask is the top of my reciepts show a 1.99 saving on a multi-buy for the shots i.e. for 5 shots an additional 1.99 is taken off. Does anyone know if you get two lots of the additional 1.99 taken off if you buy 10 shots? If no one has tried I may give it a go tomorrow and report back (I may not get a chance to get to the shops tomorrow though).

Yes the Ricola are on 3 4 2 as well.

Tried this for the first time today & was successful, I got the following:
1st Visit
6 revitalise shots
4 Boots essentials multi vits
2 Boots Vit c
4 cans Sure deodorant (on offer 2 4 £4)

Total to pay £5.19

2nd Visit
6 Revitalise shots
2 Boots essentials multi vits
1 Boots essentials omega3 fish oil
3 packs Ricola mints
2 boxes of tissues
2 boxes tampax
1 no7 facial toner

Also used £5 off no7 voucher and £1 off healthcare voucher, total to pay £5.14 !

Both transactions went thru the till as no ss at my boots. First sa didn't bat an eyelid, 2nd just looked amazed and said "is that right ?"
I just told her there was offers on all the products I'd bought and she just said "wow" & looked really pleased for me ! :j

I tried to do this today but as no self scan went to a till sa could not belive my balance 6 shots 3 vits 3 ricola and 3 radox bubble bath total came to 90 somthing pence, oh she said that cant be right so she put them all through again and total was same. She asked one of the other sa who said get manager to check manager was busy so sa said hold on when ive done ill put them all through as seperate transaction when i have done, i paniced abit then and said i was in a rush so id leave it oh how i wish we had a self scan i really wanted this deal.
