Went into Oracle in Reading and there were no shots left at all, someone must have had them.

However, I've seen someone mention Vit c and multi vits for 79p?? I couldn't see them for looking.

There is another Boots in Reading, but it doesn't have self service tills, and I was so panicky that I would get a SA who wouldn't let it go through I put a whole load of other stuff in there too.

Still £13 odd for my bundle wasn't bad.

I just wish I knew what the 79p vits looked like.

Vit C are orange as above, multivits look the same only red, garlic and cod liver oil are blue.
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

I've had great fun with these vits this morning - 3 stores, all self scan, could not for the life of me find 6 essentials vits tubs when there were loads of shots, or loads of shots where there were essential vits tubs :rotfl:!

managed to get a wee bit off my shopping with each transaction though - it all helps (mind you, in the last store I had just finished my self scan, got my card back, receipts etc and the "assistance required" started flashing on my till, so I legged it (it was probably just the till roll needing changing :D and no wonder, the length of my receipt) :rotfl::rotfl:.

Self service tills in N3c*stle - took me a while to find the shots they were on a separate stand somewhere! The multi vits said £1.09 on the SEL so got the Vit C tablets instead - got 6 of each and the self service till took ages to print the receipt! So pleased it worked so I went through again :) Still shots left when I left!

Cheers - will pop down. There were plenty shots in yesterday, but just tried a few in case it wasn't still on.

If there are no cheap vitamins it works on the little boxes of ricola herbal sugar free drops, reduced to a 1.00 from 1.47(ish)

Can you believe this i just sent my husband into boots with instructions to buy 6 shots,6 vitimins at 79p and some batteries @ £4.07 i made it very clear that he should pay around the £2 mark in total.Because they dont have ss tills and i didnt need anything else he had srict instructions that if they wanted to charge more just walk away and leave them.He then calls me to say the as puts it all through and the total is £1.97 he gave her £10 note then she said hang on this cant be right ,she then puts it through again only for the same thing to happen then the manager was called and decided to just put some of the items through and then says that is £7.74 to which my husband pays and walks away.HES ANSWER TO ME IS WELL SHE HAD MY £10 WHAT COULD I DO.is it only me that has a husband this stupid.Sorry for the rant.
