And what did he do to stop her pursuing him? Nothing it seems. Instead, he concealed it and lied to you.

youd do that to your wife, the one whos just given birth and while is now spending her days looking after your child, she will soon be returning to the same workplace as you and the woman in question?

that says far more about your lack of feelings and consideration towards your wife than anything else.

It's a lose/lose. Husband makes excuse to save wife's face, he looks like an a$$. Husband tells truth, wife looks like an a$$.

Being an inconsiderate and unfeeling person, i wouldn't have offered a lift to the girl in question in the first place. :D

    husband makes a realistic excuse - win/win.

I would have thought the simple excuse would be that the baby isn't sleeping too well at the moment, so I can't commit to leaving as early as normal as I need some sleep/or need to help wife in the morning as she is so drained.

The last few days have been a lot beter, its early days but its a start. I did speakt o him in the end about the girl and he said he doesnt even know her, hes not interested. And if it ever did get to the point where he was thinking about cheating he would tell me our relationship isnt working. I believe him about that. He knows how I feel about cheating. I think this all stems from my parents relationship and them cheating on each other and now I am having trust issues. OH works and studies so its not like he has a lot of time to go off with anyone. I am just going to keep trying to feel better about myself and he has been making me feel better too so atleast something has come of me getting advice :) thankyou. Thinking of asking my sister to joina gym with me so I get to do something for me rather than mummy stuff lol. I am going to delete my earlier posts as he knows my name and I dont want him to read it
