Greyhoundangel Hey nice to see you, i was really unwell before christmas so was not in here at all, still it was very frugal as i was not leaving the house lol

Feeling better now and picked out a modest 4 challenges (really 3 as the sealed pot just putters along with little effort).

I will sort out my sig when i get numbers for my other challenges etc...

Hope everyone is off to a good start to the year, i have to go back to work tomorrow and i know my boss will complain about my absence before christmas. Ah well

    Morning :j

It counts if i think about exercising right?

Its the morning of renewal decisions i am keeping my gym membership but i have got a new deal on it that should save me £72 over the year. I'm going to go get a cheaper phone contract tomorrow.

Other than that i have made a few new years resolutions/goals

    1. go to the gym 104 times this year (twice a week)
    2. enter 1 poetry competition a month
    3. call one member of my family a week

    Plus my MSE Challenges

    Ok i'm sleepy today:coffee::coffee: needed.

So went down to orange (EE) yesterday to get a new phone contract and managed to go down by £5 a month :) + got 100 extra "Loyalty Minutes" a month because i have stayed with them so i am basically on the same contract. Happy Me.

On a not so happy me the friend i met for lunch proceeded to tell me all the bad things that had happened to her over xmas so i was feeling a little fragile to start with. I then had to ring my dad, i try to never ring him after 7pm because he is always drunk and then gets upset/angry when i don't want to have stupid conversations or say the same thing 6 times in a row because he is too drunk to remember.

Suffice to say i ended up stressed and unable to sleep, then when i did get to sleep i spent all night dreaming about him drinking bottle after bottle of spirits and crying at the tv in a conference suite. Just Brilliant :wall:

Trying to be alert at work at the moment - its not happening. Seriously i got so run down and wound up last year that i really struggled to keep it going at work and as a result didn't get a payrise this year. Stupid alcohol.

Going to have a 5 minute book break and see if i can get back on track for the rest of the day. Did make £15 MSing yesterday though so we are off the money making mark for 2013.

    Happy thoughts to everyone

Ok had some sleep still need a bit more but hey its a start.

Made another £4.75 today from MS work and got at least one present maybe 2 if can can part with the other item. Also managed to move a pub meet up to my house so cheaper and still will have beer  yay.

I have discovered by virtue of trying my first class that Zumba makes me angry  Its replaced my usual Body Combat class and its so hard to follow its like hey you know nothing about dance but rather than show you the moves or anything i'm just going to wiggle about like a mad ferret and you follow me huzzah....

Rather than accept at this point that Zumba is the antithesis of fun, i am insisting to myself that i go back for at least another 5 classes just to make sure its not me having a strop because it made me feel like the fattest and most uncoordinated whale in the sea.

I'm sure its got something to do with the fact that i spent last year learning to use the opposite appendage to my instructor as she was facing the class (combat) and here i have to use the same appendage as my instructor as she is facing the same way as me. I keep going in the wrong direction.

Rant over - off to type up an MS :)

Made £5 yesterday and got a little shopping from it, have another on the weekend so hopefully will be covering my food expenses for the week if i'm smart about it.

Next part of my frugal challenge, new years what not is to stop throwing so many things away (i mean packaging) i will buy less things in non recyclable packaging or i will find a use for the packaging.

Allocated the first money from my entertainment budget £3.50 for a local poetry writing workshop but its pay on the day so must remember not to double spend it :)

Right better get dressed for wok hadn't i....

    Hey there money maker/savers/jailers ;)

Been a busy little bunny today, went through my survey sites and did all the surveying i could manage, then tidied up a bit and headed out to Mr T to use up my coupons before they run out of date. Managed to get £14.68 worth of shopping for £9.49 + got 136 pts.

Was looking for some more facial scrub but i like the St Ives and its £4 in Mr T (although its on 3 for 2 so would have been £2.60 ish) however Superdrug has it for £1.99 and i got a £15 gift card for there at christmas so off down there tomorrow to get a couple of tubes for £0 :)

I may not be making all that much cash yet this year but i am certainly not spending it which is a good start. Even have 1 item on eb*y thats right a whole 1 item :T need to do some more.

BTW does anyone know what mr t means by fresh yoghurt? as i have a coupon for that as well but the yoghurt i bought did not count.

Off to clean, write poetry and do many other things x ST
