I've just decided I'm in the wrong job.
I've had 25, 26 and 27 off and have been in every day since then. I would love the chance to be complaining about the trials of returning to work after a long break off.

To be fair, I could work from Christmas to New Year if I wanted to, but I always choose not to (and we don't have to have a minimum no. in) and I make DH take the time too (ditto).

In the past I've chosen to work those days as it's usually quiet and you can catch up nicely, but it all depends on your place of work, doesn't it? Retail must be a bit mad ...

awwwww so jelious I only had xmas day off and that's been it. Although have been off ill last week for a couple of days. OH has been off since 23rd and goes back on weds, to be honest can't wait to see the back of him (I work evenings so am used to having the house to myself during the day) as the house may stay tidy for more than 5 minutes.
