I did spend some money yesterday bought a white shirt for work in Mango, £39 original price then down to £19.90 when I got to the till there was another 20% off so got it for under £17. Did find a dress but put it back not right however a white shirt is always usefull so very happy with that.
Also bought a coffe in Nero as I had a full freebie stamp card. I thought you just got a small coffe but Oh you can have any large coffee plus flavouring so had a nice cinamon Latte very nice and felt good not claiming on expenses.
Went straight to the gym when I got home for about 45 min then BIL and GF came down but I only had J2o and tea felt very good. Tonight is FIL bithday in the nice pub we had the superb Sunday lunch in so look forward to that. Will defo have a drink though.
Working from home this morning then this afternoon going into Pompey. Need to get some leather cream for my Ipad cover and forgot to get that yesterday dispite being in John Lewis and Lakeland Plastics (didn't buy anything in those shop either).
DH just called he cannot take Thomas to the vet tomorrow neither can I so will see if they will swap it for Friday. His lips look so much better still pink on two small spots where the blisters where but they are healing for sure.
Still no money from the insurance getting a bit fed up now but won't chase until next week.
Ebay doing quite well quite up to £8.95, 5 bids on 5 items.
Need to get dressed to take care and have a nice day.
As you say TG, a nice white blouse never goes amiss and it sounds like you got a good bargain there; I love it when you take an already discounted item to the cash desk and find out it has been reduced further
I used to collect a lot of Nero points as I spent far too much time loitering around Gatwick airport but I haven't had to use that aiport for while now, thankfully! Oops, might have just jinxed myself saying that, bet a trip comes up now!
I have however, just received my Costa card statment which says i've got enough for a free coffee now. That's great as I take agrs to build them up as I only buy them as a treat as they are so expensive but I do really enjoy them.
I'm glad to hear Thomas is coming on so well, you must be very relieved
Regards

ATT we do sound like we have a similar working life, stuck in hotels and airports I do get my coffees paid for so I usually spend my points on my days off. Costa Coffee I am up to 3 freebies now so could almost invite someone else for lunch.
White shirt was nice to wear so was the Debenhams one I bought after Christmas dont need any shirts now for a while.
Booked a Premier Inn stay for workmate and I and earned 5% via Quidco this offer finished in 3 days so may try and book all my upcoming stays at least I can cancel them if I dont need them.
Also got my Halifax card so must get on with the forms plus sort my renewal of my license out jobs for tomorrow I think.
Thomas checkup went well got more flee treatment and he has to continue on steroids but dont have to take him back if its all clear pain having to give him the tablets though.
Went to the gym yesterday for 1 hour and did not have a drink so that is very good so far. Tonight is Mystery Shopping again again but we will go early to take advantage of the early bird offer menu and make sure we dont massively overspend.
Need to crack on with some stats our works data base is messing me about so need to get back into it now.
Hope you all have a nice day.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Morning TG
Yes, we do have a similiar working life though I would not be able to book my travel and hotel the way you do (i.e. on your own and direct with the hotels) as all sorts of h*ll would break loose! I've often been a bit envious of you being able to do this and get cashbacks etc
I'm also able to claim the odd coffee but only under certain fairly strict circumstances but I do use my Costa card for those

Shame you cannot book yourself ATT there is definitely some advantages to that.
MS last night was really nice we ended up £11 over so that is not bad and it was Friday night however having been out for dinner 5 out of the last 7 nights we are taking a break for a bit I should think. Also does'nt do much for the diet.
Ebay is going well 9 out of 13 with bids totallying £22 but I am expecting a bit more. Most of it was freebie samples so it will be a nice profit.
Finally got to look at the paperwork from Halifax, had to call them to ask about added DH. Phoned the 0800 number and a human from the UK (well north of the boarder) answered straight away no silly press this press that. He explained we just need to go into branch with DH passport and it will be sorted. The £100 is already there so will try to get DH to set up his own Halifax account but at the moment he is reluctant to be fair he needs to keep things simple and he is getting 5% interest from Santander. Need to set up S/O from DH Santander account to pay into new joint account (putting it in bold so I dont forget.
Not done anything about the driving license figured post office will be too busy today. Will do it soon though as I dont want to end up with my friend who didn't do hers and it was revoked.
Got a stew in the slow cooker ready for tonight and just off to make some lunch. 2nd load in the machine so quite productive already.
Zopa is ticking along, at the moment £30 lent out rest is being processed. £80 going to the Youth category may change that next month.
Not got major plans for the weekend may venture into town may not perhaps tomorrow quite fancy that freebie from Clinquie if it not too late already.
Right off to make some lunch as I am hungry now.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hi TG
Now back from Boots clutching my mascara, I also took my mother and she got one too.
The MSE article said Clinique had ordered more supplies this year, i must say that the perspex 'bucket' that was on display in my store for the old/swapped mascara was amazingly empty so they have either not had many folk in today or I happened to get there not long after they last emptied it

Well done on the Mascara I haven't been yet so not sure there will be any left now.
Ebay ended up at £28 and a lot of postage as its going to places such as Ukrane, Croatia and Netherlands still a lot of it was free so profit in total. Not heard that you cannot charge extra for postage I know you cannot charge for taking Paypal but I add a bit for packaging but got it free from DH's office load of nice unused Jiffy's nice result. 3 are still to pay but 1 bought 4 items so not too bad hopefully they will pay today so I can post everything tomorrow. Edit 1 more has just paid so 2 to go.
Driving license is just that my photo license expires next month to need to pay to have a new one. Pain as I have to have my photo taken at the post office and it has to be a main one.
DH has applied for the Halifax account and I will add him onto mine when his is sorted he can just recycle money in that one or we can use it for savings. Happy to have the other one as a joint one the £100 is already in there nice one.
Also applied for a Santander 123 card that gives you cashback plus £15 via Quidco. Ended up with two Barclays cards, dont like them as they take the DD at odd times of the month and you cannot change that. When I get my new one with cancel the two others as one was the balance transfer from the Golf Club membership last year and the other my old Egg card. DH says he wants one too so that cool will do that too.
Done, Zumba this morning hard class as we are changing instructor as this one is leaving shame as I really liked her but hopefully the other on will be nice too. Will go Tuesday as well.
Done one load of washing need to get it out and hope the other stuff is dry.
Take care hope you all have a nice Sunday.Save £12k in 25 No 49

License done just need a stamp its £20 but more if you take it to the post office and as I had a photo that made my mind up.
Also ordered a selection of seed potatoes for our bags for next year, £10 for all 4 bags to be full up and that will see us in potatoes all Summer so quite good value. Also got a code from Marshalls C402 if you order more than £15 worth you get 6 packets of seeds Beetroot, Carrot, Lettuce, Spring Onion Rdish and Cabbage and is I needed to order Spring Onion and Lettuce made it worth added a bit extra so got some potato fetiliser and some sugar snaps so not bad for £23.
Still pondering if I go into town and get my 20 free photos (thanks to voucher from BIL when he bought his lense) but ots so cold and I need to choose the photos first but I could get the free mascara as well.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Got my mascara the counter was empty but this other lady had gone off to find a member of staff. She could then not find the product but the lady said I think its those (they were being the perpex tube with the old ones). She then stuck two in the hand of the staff member who said Oh you would like two and promptly gave her two. I had only taken one with me but happy enough. Cheeky though I wonder if she had been before or if she was an avid MSE reader getting her maximum.
Also got 27 free 5x7 photos (should only had been 25 but he did not charge me for the last two). Bought two cheap photo albums £4 for inlaws and us. Free parking so although it cost me £4 I got the £8 free mascara and the photos should have been £8.70. Nice now I think I can relax.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Scales haven't moved 87.5 again but mastered my drink and gym challenge

3/3 gym
Very happy about that and will do Zumba and pump Tue & Weds.
Work needs to step into gear have two conference calls this morning also need to post the EBay parcels two hasn't paid so may wait until this afternoon.
Mid month update on Zopa £50 lent out still £50 processing takes ages.Save £12k in 25 No 49
