A plain Englsish explanation on the principle of LLU unbundling might have been more helpful.

Thanks for your comments everyone. I have decided to go with Plusnet, with their Plusnet Extra broadband as I didn't think a download limit of 10GB a month would be enough with the 'value'. Plusnet seem to have some good reviews, so happy with my decision so far!:j0
