    Happy new year Mooloo!
    xxx
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Gosh, Happy New Year everyone.
The Special Guardianship has been means tested, I will recieve the funds for 2 years. Then after that they will be re examined on a means tested basis. So we will see. But at least I will eventually know what I will have to live on for the 2 years anyway.
Yes the facts are I dont get the Childbenefit, as I get the support from the SS. They will deduct the amount from what I get, and I will then be able to claim. This will open up the chance to receive other benefits like the school dinners etc, (when she goes to school), and of course then I get her calculated in my housing applications, and any other benefits that I can claim. Currently I only get funds as a single person. Although of course the amount I receive has been disregaded in my income calculations. But nobody seems to know if this will still be disregarded as child maintenance, or whether it will be classed as an income of some sort. Then of course it will affect them all in different ways. This is why I do not know what my budget is going to be based on as of yet.!
But I will be no worse off then any single mum I suppose. It will just put us in the poverty trap permanantly, unless the hospital can pinpoint the right medication and treatment this time. However, I will face it as and when, I cannot worry today. I worry far too much, and its not helping my health.
I am determind that I will look after my health as best as I can, so that I can continue to keep DGD, even though there are days when I sit here with my head in my hands crying that I cannot do it anymore.! Not proud of those moments, but I am sure I am not alone in despairing over a child and its antics. I am sure I did it with my 4 as well.! Its just seems harder at my age, and of course everyone tells you its harder so you start to believe that as well.
I am still so very tired, which is the secondary battle, but with all the medication it is to be expected.

I went to bed around 9pm last night, and I was asleep quite soon, although I was still up to the loo several times. I must go back to the doctors about that one, as I ran out of the tablets that were supposed to help me before the festive season!. Oops.

I impulse spent £10.65 on fabrics again on the internet yesterday. Too many sales!!! But it should make me some money- next Christmas! as its reduced Christmas fabric, and it will not go off will it.
I was talking to Molly's DD yesterday, and said that I had spent on impulse, and how silly it is, as I have some fabric in my room that i had forgotten I had. (When I went to sew, I actually ended up tidying the room up a bit,,as all my raking around had left a complete mess and no space to work). I have decided that I will try and sell on some of the bits that I dont think I will use any real time soon.! Although that may take a while to sort out and catalogue etc. I think i need to catalogue what I have and where it is, so that when we move the stuff up into the loft while we swap the rooms around, I will know where I want to find anything.
I aim to get the Valentines stuff made, so keeping back the red/red check/red and white/white and cream stuff, as well as some of the more Shabby Chic bits so I can continue to make in the front room. The ambitious mood I am in, means that I am going to aim to make one item a day minimum, so that I have a target to get my work made and out there.!! Should be easy, its just that I dont always feel exactly up to it.
And as I didnt make yesterday I will need to make 2 today. I did sew on the New years a couple of hearts that were previously cut out, but havent stuffed them as I am waiting for the new lavander heads to arrive.
    Right toast is up.
Have a good day, and I hope that my feeling upbeat will last, and rub off on anyone that needs it!.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Cant remember which one you had? Was it a small two tone zipped one? With pleats in it? If so I have a few of them. Will PM you.
:D I have a few purses,(thats what I think you had) and wallets and some smaller tote bags, ideal for gifts or the summer! So they are not really on the websites etc anymore. Waiting for the opportune time I suppose. I really need to sort things!

I have never made Valentine stuff - what sort of things do you make - I can think of stuffed hearts and cushions - that's all.

Mainly hearts and cushions, but ring pillows are also a variation on the theme, but I dont make much else really. I plan to make a few cards if I can, sewn padded types, with a bit of help from my mum! But we will see. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
I am also interested in doing some fabric jewellry I have seen.
I will post what I do manage to do when i have got that far!.
All I have managed to do today, is to shorten my BF's jeans. DGD has been rather demanding, and has run Molly's daughter a bit ragged. She was not feeling well, and DGD is feeling rebellious so its still been hard work for the both of us!. They have started to make some sock puppets though. So that will be something to continue the theme on.
Twin1 has changed the day she is coming to tomorrow, and also asked to borrow some money for the electric! They are out on the emergency again. DS confirmed this. She asked for £20 but I said I could only LEND her £10 and i need it back on Thursday when she gets paid. (And then I will keep it back for the bouncing loan! ).
I know that this was not a NO that I should have been saying but its a small comprimise. It is far too cold, wet and windy to be without any heating or electric/hot food, and it is for the 2 of them. I know that DS gave her £20 just before Christmas for the electric as I was the one who sent him to get it out of his last benefits.
    Right need to go.

Thanks Mooloo. I make cards so have done Valentine ones before and sold some. I may make stuff that is suitable for Valentines but also Mothering Sunday- then if it doesn't sell - still okay for the second one.
