MOOLOO'S continuing saga Part 4

Well I am here, again, posting for 2012.
It was suggested that I start a new thread for a new year. It is the 4th year that I have been divulging the trials and tribulations that my life seems to have hurled at it.
I am still always in a dodgy situation with funds, and with the way that my family life is a huge concern, and the family demands are somewhat unusual and therefore complicated.
This year, I will finally be getting the Guardianship of my granddaughter, and the financial side of things will once again change. Not necessarily for the better. But they will hopefully be more stable, and I will be able to work out what it is I have to live off of, for a longer term then it has been in the last 4 crazy years.
I have had many ups and downs over that time, but thanks to the help and support of plenty of MSE followers I have achieved something.
I have started this year on a feeling of positivity, and I hope that that will be a good sign and carry me forward into the unknown with more confidence then I have had of late.
My health may be an issue, but only if I make it so.
I am determind to find the best medical treatments, the best exercises and the things that will keep me going so that caring for DGD is not a complete strain. I will use what resources are to hand, and with the knowledge of my friends on here, I am confident that we will get through this year more smoothly then in the past.
As long as I keep Calm and Carry on as the saying goes.:D
I will post this, then work out how to put the links in to the previous saga's but I am sure that the reading would take far too long for any newbies to want to bother!
I hope that everyone who has problems the way I have had, will take cheer in the fact that there is help out there, its just a case of looking and asking for it. I wish everyone a Happy New Year and a very prosporous one too!.

Happy New Year Mooloo, sounds like your get up and go is full throttle today. Best wishes for the hospital appointment, I hope a suitable plan of campaign is sorted out for your aches and pains.
I know money has always been a challenge for you, and wondered who DGD's child benefit is being paid to if it's not you. Seems odd......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

I have subscribed!!!
Let's hope 2012 goes as well as it can do!!
Errata - without stepping on Mooloo's toes I believe that people who have a 'looked after' child (child in care) are paid an allowance by Social Services and so are not able to claim Child Benefit. No one will claim Child Benefit for the child. Once the child is no longer 'looked after' then Child Benefit can be claimed which is what I think will happen when Mooloo is given Special Guardianship.0 -
Happy New Year Mooloo! You sound a lot more positive and upbeat and things can only get better. I don't post much on your thread but I do like to read daily to see how you and your family are doing. With all my best wishes for a more peaceful year.0

This is correct - the amount of CB will be deducted from the SG allowance that will continue to be paid.Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0 -
Happy New Year Mooloo.
My wish for you a bit more stability and less of a roller coaster than past years as surely this must finally be the year everything is sorted out once and for all for you and DGD.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
