Does anyone have any other game recommendations please.....

EA Sports Active 2 is on offer at the moment.

£7 from Morrisons (picked one up locally today) or £7.98 from Game

Wii games are always on offer somewhere. Best to find a game you want then search for the best price for it, or wait for a deal on it - you won't need to wait long !
  • Hi Bikertov

OK - it has worked now. Maybe I was a bit too quick to check !

I have sent you another PM with some more useful information.

Enjoy it all - I am sure you will have great fun with your Wii !

Loads of fun exercises, including Zumba-type - and (best of all) it's not expensive! :T
Depending upon your age and the participation of others, the "rabbids" range can be great fun..... I remember snowboarding on my bum (using the wobble....er ....... balance board of course).
Seriously, until the new Wii Mew .. err Phew ... umm Two ... okay, YOU find the thing on a keyboard! (oh here goes; sued by Nintendo! Joy!) has been out a while, for sheer value for money the Wii is hard to beat!:D

This is the one - best price I could see was The Hut and Zavvi:

The Rabbids games are brilliant. Very easy and quick to play, so you don't need to get 'into' them. Adults and kids can all enjoy - I even let mine beat me every so often ;)

Try this one - great value as a triple pack for just over £10 on amazon at the moment :

Agreed - you can't beat the Wii for value and fun. Most games can be found on offer, and I reckon you don't need to pay full price for any of them, especially if you are happy to wait a bit to find them.

I got most of our games for under £15 - and well rated games too, not poor quality boring ones.
  • Thanks Bikertov! :T
  • Thanks everyone for the game tips, just ordered the Rabbids game - any other suggestions welcome - It seems the games are more on Ebay than "at the shops"
We love the wii, although it is only day 1 :):)

If you can give us an idea of who will be playing on the Wii, and the type of games you might be interested in, we can make a few more recommendations for you :)
  • It will just be my wife and I playing on it both age 35. Not "gamers" was just thinking of casual fun

Not into the "be a soldier and save the world" modern warfare type games

The Guinessbook of Records game can be fun. Try doing the highest jump on a BMX, who can balance a car on their head the longest.
I lent mine to a friend at work about 6 months ago and his family loves it. It was lying unused as my Wii hasn't been on in ages, personal preference.
