  • Honestly, no I don't :o I much prefer it made in a teapot, but as there's only me that drinks it normally, I just make it with a teabag in the mug.

    :D Snap!

I bought a teapot last year and went through a spate of always making it in there (and it does taste soooo much better!) but it then got put into the cupboard and ...... I don't usually drink that much tea at home but have been recently as it's getting chilly during the day & being in all the time it warms me up.

Might have to dig that teapot out again! (and it's rather 70s retro green & yellow teapot cosy that my granny crocheted!)

    Sounds fab, rising :D

Well, another weekend over and the week begins! As per usual, I'll be glad when Monday's over, as it's my worst day class-wise.

I've brought some chicken soup with me and a small chocolate bar, so that'll be plenty for during the day, along with plenty of tea! :D

We have two teapots on the go here - an 8 cuppa one (that is brilliant for Dr Dragon making my flask of chamomile tea) and a two cup one that is used for my black tea (which is then drunk out of an insulated travel mug :rotfl:)
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup :D

Really don't want to drive to work - it's like an ice rink out there :(

  • Take it carefully!

Everything's frozen solid here but the at least roads were dry last night which makes a difference as it's crunchy ice rather than ice rink ice ... (I can see I'm going to make a lot of sense today :o)

See, it rained a lot here yesterday, so it's all just frozen

I've got to work okay, abeit later than normal, as I got stuck behind a 4x4 pulling a trailer, followed by a lorry on a country lane where there's no many places to pass, at 40 mph for a good 30 minutes. Sigh. Oh well, at least I'm here in one peace, and the kettle is on, so that's good :D

I've brough with me some mushroom risotto for lunch - leftovers from last night which was very tasty, so I'm looking forward to that  and I haven't brought anything else with me, no mince pie, no chocolate, nothing!

Should be another NSD for me - I'll declare later though :)
