How's everything going, TPA? How's the new dog settling in?

Hope your Mum is well too x

Hi Cinny, Mum is OK...acting a bit 'strange' at times! But most of the time ok! Puppy is VERY naughty! OMG she will eat anything! Blinds, clothes......

I;ve done the maths for April and its looking good....too good actually, I have a feeling my adding up has gone wrong!

My maths say we currently owe £20,763.10

I'm sure your maths is right, TPA! So that's a little over 2k off since last month?

I'm fully feeling the naughty puppy-ness. We got our first dog 3 weeks ago - a 'little' husky x malamute. His favourite thing to do atm is nibble on the carpets when we think he's innocently chewing on a pigs ear  What kind of dog is she? Hopefully she'll grow out of the 'bite the world' phase soon!

    Have a nice Easter :easter_ba
  • New puppy is a beagle....a beagle with no brains, she did a runner at puppy class again yesterday!! She is 9 months old, adorable but will steal and chew anything! As my mum found out on Thursday!

We are going to get a kennel and run made for the garden, so during the day her and our other doggy can be safe but have enough room to run/stretch/play.....hubby has been home with her since we had her as he has torn his claf muscle, I really don't know ho she is going to cope without having a 'person' around 24/7.

I must double check the maths...but don't want to as I like the figures! However dog runs n kennels are VERY expensive so next month will be ultra rubbish!

I swear Ryder doesn't even pay attention to whatever he shouldn't be chewing because he's too busy scanning the room for the next thing to chew! I keep telling myself it's a phase he'll soon grow out of but I've heard horror stories of 'teenage' husky crosses chewing the wall!:eek:

If I were you, I wouldn't bother recalculating this months monies if it'd possibly depress me anyways the figures were going to rocket next month anyways :A Like Radish said, the happiness of your pups being able to run about will far outweigh the cost :)

  • Evening all, sorry I have been missing in action, I found a lump under my arm and I have obviously been worried (not for the first time!)
    Anyway, all seems fine:)

I had written down the maths for May 1st but hadn't got round to putting it in 'typing'!

Hubby had a bonus and we have been very good at taking lunches to work..........we currently owe £16, 572.12...so if it wasn;t for the dam £18,500 4x4 expense we would have smashed our original MF target by 3 months!

Oh well, we are currently well on track to be MF by hubbies 40th, Sept. 2014 xx:j
