Valli - thanks for your post explaining in more detail how it all works. I understand much better now and takes the pressure off for trying to do too much at first.

Mrs Chaos - although I'm new to this thread, can I come to the meadowhall meet? I'm finishing work at the end of the month so will have more time to get out and about then.

I've been back at work today and still feeling under the weather from bug I caught at the weekend. But even so feeling that I'm doing okay.

Just found the ravelry site, lost and hour of my life and expect flying maybe limited whilst I search for a pattern that I a) like and b) meets my very novice knitting skills.

    To bed now.

    Morning All

Woke up at 3.30 with a banging headache but didn't get up and take anything, managed to go back to sleep so I've still got a banging head now! Oh well, parrots taken so hopefully it will go soon. Going to finish getting dressed now and then go and wash the dishes from last night which I didn't get round to doing.

Happy Birthday Quillion - hope you have a lovely day!

    Have a good day all

Good morning, shocked I thought I was the first to post, knew JJ would be up :) hope your headache eases soon

    Happy birthday Quillion

Got one back to school today so 'mission seems impossible' of creating some order here starts. I plan to do the level ones so far, but must get this done

Read through some more WW stuff and meal plan for the rest of the week
See what food items are close to being wasted & make sure used up
Work out my grocery spends from yesterday
Clear under and on the sofas
Clamber under the stairs and sort the cupboard out
Put the sales bargains for presents under stairs or in my wardrobe
    Clear/clean downstairs loo
Clear under kitchen cabinets and balance kick boards back on
    Do 3 loads of laundry
Get the boys to put their clothes away (just seen they can't close their wardrobes as half is on floor)
    Clean garden up
    Advertise trampoline on Freegle
Find DS1s birthday presents - eek!

Think that's all, I'll add to as I think of anything else. Going to feed the woofs, have a mooch online etc while youngest gets himself sorted
One day I might be more organised...........

WM and TD emptied and reloaded
    Drainer cleared
    Dishes washed
    Downstairs hoovered
    Kids woken up!

Need to sort breakfasts and take the dog out now and then I'll be ready to go - not sure about the kids though - they seem half dead this morning! Better ring DH as well seeing as I didn't speak to him last night.

Morning all. Work for next 3 days:( so probably only get dailes done till weekend.) DH is off until Friday - have threatened to give him the lists and he said " sit at pc all day and get up at 2.30 to put hoover round before I get in"

MrsC - would love to do M'hell meet but we are supposed to be away Feb half-term altho friend who suggested it has yet to make any arrangements. Will have to contact you nearer the time if I can make it.

JoJo - I use Lidl Formil - it's a Which Best Buy. Does a great job at half the price of everything else. Have Persil bio tablets for the boys school shirts tho - helps maintain the whiteness.

Off to find my list then time to get DS2 up. Ooh thanks for the vibes yesterday - apparently DS1 didn't have an exam after all, it was for double Science and he is doing Triple - timetable school has given us is very confusing! They have tried to fit it onto 1 sheet and it doesn't do plenty!! - there just isn't enough info on it for each paper.

Deco - stop procrastinating and get on with it. It's now the 4th of Jan if you leave it any longer you'll look silly. It only has to be a simple "Happy new Year" then see what happens. You mustn't feel guilty because you are still here and your beloved OH has gone. You are still young and he will want you to live your life to the full.:)
