hi is it unlucky to wash clothes today? my mil said she thought it was but a day without washing is not good here lol

    I'd heard that too but had some stuff that had to be washed urgently, I'll take my chances. lol

    Commons sense says that nothing that anyone can do or say on a particular day can make it lucky or unlucky.
    make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
    and we will never, ever return.

    My mum (born 1919) and now no longer with us ...sadly, always used to tell me never to wash clothes on New Years Day....as you will 'wash someone out of the family'...meaning a death. :eek:I never wash clothes on this day....call me superstitious......;)
