Well said Cornish, I actually told my OH not to get me anything and if he really want to give me something - then give me money. That way I can go out & buy meal for everyone to eat.

Also we recycled our Birthday cards. Year in & year out same card;)
RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)

I got code no 20 at supermarket today so if you still need codes all mine will unneeded from next week we always buy cravendale but I don't think we drink enough to get 2 kermies. Today in asda someone had been taking he labels off the bottles as there were plain white bottles of milk dumped elsewhere in the store. Some people really have no shame. Hope they got seen.

Doc you can be quite a thoughtful [STRIKE]cow[/STRIKE] person, can't you? I agree birthdays, Xmas, easter, every other event relies too much on what is spent, then the actual meaning of the event.

Guys don't get me wrong. £20 is plenty tO spend I would just rather not get money as it just get spent on food or bills. Was hopeing I might get the coat I asked for at Xmas as mine is falling apart (have not as yet had any Xmas pressies from him either as he not got round to it yet) maybe dose of his own medicine is needed next year .

chatmum, was trying to reply on my phone, but getting too hard.

I was saying that maybe your hubby and kids have a surprise planned for this evening or weekend, and this was just to put you off?

Believe me, men are on a different planet to women!

DH will forget my birthday, even though it is a week before his Mum's unless I remind him and put in the calendar, but he will remember his Mum's and make sure I have sent her a present!!! Last year I got nothing, but when his mum came to visit after her birthday, he went and bought her flowers!

    anyway

Hope you are surprised tonight or this weekend, and have a great day.
