Morning Bully,
I used to have non-stick trays, but OH hasn't grasped the concept yet - still thinks you have to use a Brillo pad on everything. Dishwasher broke a couple of months ago and am still waiting for DS to fix it - along with my PC.

lost another 2lbs today at weigh in:j 9lbs in total DSIL doing better than me but she is walking more and cut her tea down (which I don't drink anyway) she has lost a total of 13lbs:j
Just to let peeps aware that offer with milk & more even though you set up a direct debit you don't have to order anything else if you don't want to and no minimum spend so think pretty good offer not sure quality of loo rolls but at 98p for 36 and 6 cadburys cream eggs can't be bad (although will have to get rid of cream eggs pretty quick before I end up eating them):D:D:D
I forgot to order the toffiee offer with it which i think was £3.99 down to £1 as didn't see it on there but I know others did.0 -

Morning All :hello:
Hmmm, do you put the shiny side of foil up or down on the tray when cooking oven chips (or anything else for that matter)?
Does anyone have the answer or is it just hit and miss?
3 answers for you :-
1) Foil shiny side down, so we cook our chips on the non-shiny side.
2) Follow Bully's suggestion:D
3) Use greaseproof paper instead of foil. (get supermarket own brand - cheaper)
Me Lazy, me use non-stick greaseproof paper to cook chips or even roasting meat. Now a day, me use - turkey bags for roasting (get their own supermarket brand)RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -

Cooked some frozen oven chips last night and they all stuck to the foil - foil was shiny side up. Was this why, should I have had it shiny side down?
Who knows, does anyone care?
I don't normally think about which way I put the foil on the tray but my chips don't normally stick to it.
Does anyone have the answer or is it just hit and miss?
Lol I don't use foil for chips for that reason they stick
I use a non stick baking tray for mine and turn half way through cooking2014 Swagbucks goal - £50/ £300 - 16/01/2014
