just watched a woman buy over $2,100 dollars worth of stuff at the supermarket and they ended up paying her $57 dollars for doing so!
pity you could never do that over here ..0 -

It is good over there, but I think the programme is exaggerating some of it.
Not that I am slim jim myself, but have you noticed most of them are overweight, think it is all that free candy they buy and no proper food/veg;) They say they get the shopping for nothing, but if you listen they buy a lot of the coupons. One of them admitted they paid 70 dollars for some coupons for one of her shops and that was without all the papers etc she bought.
It is a bit false really as it sounds like they spend a fair bit of dosh buying the coupons.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Sounds nice

Totally off topic, but has anyone recieved their Rosenborg, or jack daniels calender this year?.
I have gotten mine from wilkinson this year, my mum reminded me i usually get a free one....... wonder how come no calenders this year. I think they don't sell cheese in uk anymore, even clicking uk on the website doesnt take you through, yet the others do
Maybe they shut down or something?
We don't have a topic here;) I received a Rosenborg (think it was, but no idea where it is:o) calendar a couple of months ago, but I haven't received a jack daniels calendar this year either.
Adoreholidays, good luck with your tribunal. I hope you finally get everything sorted out in your favour. When you have time please keep us updated.
Aesop, hope you feel better soon. It is times like now when I am glad I have no kids and can just sleep/rest without anyone wanting me to do anything for them. Take care of yourself and if your still not feeling any better by thurs/fri then go to the docs again as the tabs should have started to work by then.
Genmodd, lovely to see you posting, Happy New Year to you as well.
I've copied names for the wombling club from when I started the thread and people who said they wanted to join. If you name isn't on it and you want to join in the fun then just say as everyone is welcome.
We love hearing about wombling amounts, so please tell us even if you don't wanna join the club (quoia).Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I was talking to my sister about it earlier and I said i'd be interested to know their annual spend on papers, magazines and anything else that contained coupons.
But then i guess someone can do a shop for $2k's worth of stuff and finish in profit then it surely over the course of a year, it must break even against what they spend on newspapers ?
but then would, say, $200 dollars cover you for that many magazines e.t.c. to get that many coupons ?0 -
Morning everyone and a belated happy new year.Hope those that are
under the weather, are feeling better soon.
Aesop will pm you later, need to wait for dd to surface, so she can read
the codes for me. Why do they make them so small!
