have they tried replacing the screen wash box? maybe previous owner filled it with something else by mistake? And if it has never been washed out properly.....

No them idiot did not change the box for me & they insisted that there is nothing wrong with it. I vowed not to go to Pentagon ever since. I did make them pay me x amount of money can't remember how much could be £1k or £500 for few "minor things", also make them valet my car all over again, polished the car back to its glory, removed the dents that was not there when we inspected it, scratches on my tinted glass, change wipes (as its mot failure), god knows what else:rotfl:

When I bought the car in 2007, I took it to another garage who looks after our company fleet, they did a free thorough health check up for me & listed stuff for me to get Pentagon to rectify it.

The Pentagon Boss was horrified when I told them either rectify all the stuff listed or give me back my £8k:D if not I am going to get Trading Standard involve. The Pentagon Big boss was not happy with me, he said you don't scare me that easily and I don't take threat. I said in the first place your rep should have not sell me MOT failure car. In the end he agreed to refund x amount of ££ back to me.

And I love me zafira to bits

yI thought so too but he is the expert:D maybe by adding the salt it will prolong the weed from growing back up.

on the subject of car, I cannot pour any screen wash liquid onto my screen wash box, I can only put water because if I put a bit of the liquid in, it will give out rotten egg smell whenever I started the engine or using the wind screen washer. It has been like that since I bought it (am the 2nd owner) from the garage & they themselves could not figure out what's wrong with it.

Have you tried using a bit of window cleaner in with the water?

    Good Morning all.

No SJ, I didn't try that also I could not put any chemical with the water. Will try window cleaner & see if it smell like rotten eggs. If it does its your fault:p
