Just been to Beckton Sainsburys and Tesco again; must be a glutton for punishment as same issue with SAs in Mr S but alas none of the smaller Mr S's had the stuff I wanted; sadly this Mr S didn't have the 500ml vimto either but it had everything else. Got asked if coupons were photocopies when went straight to customer service desk to pre-empt any problems with coupons scanning; I said no and said you can see they all have different barcodes on them and my name, SA said ok but we can't put stuff through on customer service desk-I said well all other times I have been here the normal tills won't scan coupons and you have to put it through to customer service desk anyway so she was like 'harumph' and put everything through in 3 transactions so I could use two of the same couponstar coupon. Mr T got most things but the offer on the tetley extra strong on MyS was wrong, and the cushelle 9 pack on offer was completely and utterly rinsed-not a pack left anywhere. I had one coupon for the Velvet toilet paper on the same offer but sadly printer jammed while printing and thus did only have one. Got to till as store was about to close and did a quick profiling of all the SAs, I dunno why but this one particular one looked like a coupon using type-and I was right. She even said she likes the bodyform coupons as you can get a few of them and they don't say only one per transaction or any other restriction, she said her son thinks she is mad for using coupons and voucher codes but she got him some star wars merchandise virtually for free using some so he shut up now :p Anyway combing both shops together- used about £18 quid worth of coupons in combo with offers; and got a shop that would have cost £103 when stuff not on offer, down to a nice £50.59

no problem today in my Sainsburys with using more than one cuponstar coupon.

got plenty of free milk on the balcony- the fridge is far to small :)

I always wait till Monday morning to see what coupons and freebies my Postman bring :p. still waiting for my Tassimo vouchers won back in November

free milk? how did you get that?
  • You can use more than one couponstar coupon in my sainsburys just not multiples of the same one on the same transaction; not sure why but most London Mr S seem like this and some other people on here in other areas have said they have had the same issue. Staff have told me its a setting specific to couponstar coupons, other multiple coupons go through fine xx

  • ^its one per customer though so how did you get around that? I have got 3 of them but plan to not be 'bait' and get my second one on another day and OH will get one as well-we don't really need more than 3 to be honest xx

Yep but this thread isn't really for encouraging misuse of coupons even if a particular SA says its ok, that coupon clearly says one per customer so using multiple ones particularly in one transaction would be against the t&c. If people go wild getting loads of something at once that is meant to be one per customer then the shop may not run such an offer again xx
