We don't encourage or condone this behaviour. The supermarkets now don't accept coupons for products not bought.
Abuse of this means they will probably stop accepting coupons all together.0 -
seems a reminders needed
any posts encouraging or talking about misuse of coupons will be removed
as per thread rulesmyrtleturtle wrote: »PLEASE can people take the time to read the below post .
As these few things help make the thread easier for me to update and save BT having to remove posts that belong elsewhere.
MANY THANKS MT
PLEASE
-can people check the first pages BEFORE posting coupon finds and before asking where a coupon is , they are ALL on first pages take takes a few minutes to look.
- politely let me know if you if you find a non working link or expired coupon.
- if you find a valid/working coupon in 'gone not forgotten' let me know but please make sure its valid before posting a request to add it back in current list.
- only original source links can be posted , so NO posts about hosting copies of PDF's on Google Docs or other such hosting sites, which is also not allowed
putting ALL of the above in BOLD BLUE
coupon chat thread HERE
link to drivel thread non coupon related chatter , everyones welcome
HERE
please remember this is the printable coupon thread, so unless it involves coupon/ coupon use please post non coupon related links such as freebies or glitches (unless a coupons involved) ,competitions, codes, meal deal, days out deals etc
please post them in their relevant threads
AND
keep things polite if you need help/info ask politely and you'll get a quicker reply.
but also
if/when you recieve the help/info you asked for . PLEASE thanks/acknowledge the reply because that is just as rude and discourages people from helping again.
THANKS
AND ON A FINAL NOTE DON'T MIS REDEEM COUPON , YOU NEED TO BUY THE ITEM FOR WHICH THE COUPON IS FOR.
a short term gain for one, will lead to a long term lose for allas its a fresh start and due to recent problems the following is not to occur in this thread
1) encouraging misuse of coupons , i.e not buying the item , printing off multiple coupons and buying multiple items when the terms say you should not
2) editing of coupons , scanning of coupons , making multiple sheets of copons to print off
3) offering to send by post any coupons you have , requires swapping of names and addresses which is not allowed if you check the Forum FAQ's
4) posting of your personal email addresses
5) offers to PM codes , if you have a code it has to be posted ( again covered in the FAQ's and "stickies" here)
and finally
6) personal abuse between forum users , outside my remit as a Board Guide so ALL posts get referred to the forum team
posts about hosting copies of PDF's on Google Docs, is also not allowed
if you quoted any of the above , even if the rest of the information was useful on your post , it will be removed0 -
hi EL
ALL available coupons are posted in purple on 1st pages
ignore post date ALL posts are regularly updatedI must have missed something, I bookmarked the links to supersavvy and beforIshop, but many items on there are no longer highlighted for printing, and there are only a few coupons on there. Is there another good website or another savvy tactic I should try?0 -

^:T Exactly this; this is why Mr S in my area has imposed some draconian restrictions on their tills and still insist on checking every single item you have bought or are going to buy if you use coupons, and tesco and other supermarkets are refusing genuine people using their coupons, because of stuff like using coupons for items you aren't actually buying. I only use coupons for products I am actually buying (unless its a freebie coupon then I use it to get something I physically have in my trolley for free), it may not save me ridiculous amounts of money but at least I know its legit. Also MSE have had threats of legal trouble because of being seen to allow the encouragment towards misuse of coupons, voucher codes and other money saving tips; when they don't xx0 -

If you look on the first page of this thread there are quite a few decent coupons around, some on the actual sites of the product as opposed to being on SSM or BiS, at the moment there seems to be a bit of a coupon 'drought', lot of coupons from the tail end of last year ended towards the end of January or will end on 31st Jan and there doesn't seem to be as many materialised in their place but hoping come first Feb some more show up-especially on SSM as a lot of their coupons have been geared to run out on 31st Jan for a while now so surely there will be some 'gaps' in their list. I managed to print 20 coupons last night that were 'new' (maybe been around for a bit but just didn't print them) and used quite a few of them today as there were decent offers on. Happy couponing! xx0 -
