Thanks for the tips Ro - hope I remember these. Will have to start a notebook with baby tips in it I think as my memory is shot to pieces now.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I felt really almost bereft when Erin went up from Micro to size 1 nappies! She went up to size 2 fairly recently as well and I know I need to have another clothes clearout as we've still got a few bits of newborn hanging around that I love that won't fit her beyond another couple of weeks (Next newborn stuff seems mahoosive compared to some other stuff)... questionning at the moment if she'll be in 0-3 or 3-6 for a wedding we're at at the end of the month (I'm thinking 0-3 but the outfit we bought for her is smaller fitting so fingers crossed).

Sexymouse - hee hee trust me the memory only gets worse!
2 more tips for your book lol don't buy a changing mat with stitching down it as wee will only soak into it especially if you have a boy lol I have just binned my expensive beautiful m&p one for a cheap £4 one from tesco! The baby week by week book is essential reading in my opinion !

Dizzi - I hates removing the NB clothes when he outgrew them !

Just been doing loads of sorting and moving round. We have packed a lot of breakables and moved a glass cabinet upstairs. I know Scott will be a menace so might as well start moving potentially expensive accidents out of the way ! Trouble is I created my own expensive accident and damaged an expensive piece  we have still loads to sort as we are putting the cotbed downstairs in the dining room for now as Scott still fits the crib upstairs. Scott is filling the pram out so will be able to switch to cotbed for daytime naps whrn we need to. We are moving practically every item of furniture round  still we have started! Also got to start airing the sleepcurve mattress but it's a bit big and don't like the smell so will put it in the 3rd bedroom with the door closed.
Can't move now my back has had it !!

Hope everyone is well and babas are behaving.

Evening all hope babies have been well and behaving themselves today :D

Noah has gone to bed now after being the most miserable baby ever today :p

Gilly - :rotfl: mash on his ear bless him!! I get jealous when you post pics of your little man in his high chair as I really want that one!! I've looked online and the cheapest I can find it is around £135!!!

Quick question to all mummy's, Noah is 16 weeks on Tuesday so when does everyone recommend introducing baby rice etc? I might get pots and spoons this week so I have them ready.

No earlier than 17 weeks hun, but they say whenever they seem ready in themselves, so not being satisfied with normal formula at the max amount and if trying hungry baby they are still needing fed less than every 3 hours, watching you eat, being able to sit up unaided, everything going to the mouth, those sort of things? If he's content enough, sleeping through etc, I'd be inclined to leave it really, apparently better for them waiting a while longer xx

Hi sammie the guidelines are six months for weaning kira posted a link to the birth to five book (nhs) it has the info in there. Some have started earlier usually because of peads advice others because they choose to but guidance is 6 months. It's all a bit confusing as packaging on foods can say 4 months even though nhs is 6 months !!

Sorry did not read Gillys post before posting !! Gilly is right too it's all a matter of what at you read it's blummin confusing I will see if I can find kiras link to birth to five book

Heres little monkey in his new bounce about and on his tummy :)

Sammie, Aiden is 1 week older than Noah - I have recently bought spoons, tubs etc and have sorted out a cupboard in the kitchen with the steamer and blender. I'm not planning on starting soon as he isnt finishing his milks and doesnt seem to be quite ready yet. I suppose we will just go with what he wants. We haven't got a highchair yet either, I have seen afew I like too so need to really shop around I think.

Ro, sounds like you have been super busy!! Well done you :TLet me know how the follow on milk goes if you try it. And good luck with weaning!

Sexymouse, not too much longer for you to go now!! I wash with non bio and comfort/lenor pure - Aiden isnt sensitive against it and I do love the smell :)

Gilly, how cute is that pic, bless him. He looks like he enjoys his food. Hope you enjoyed your wine too.

Might be back a little bit later xxx
