courgette I am thinking about the device, have seen it for £40 on ebay (but wrong model), otherwise about £65. I think once is unfortunate, but twice would be ridiculous - and if there is something to stop that happening it is worth it. We are all human, and OH is very stressed with work at the minute so can't rule it out.
Glad you like the format SJ1, look forward to seeing your own monthly goals. I would definitely get confused with the two car types, and we do seem to find even more inventive ways of paying money out on them!!
eg OH tried the baby brain excuse, but it wasn't pointed out that he isn't actually pregnant so it didn't really wash :rotfl:. More stress I think, it makes us do stupid things.
Lixi thanks for popping by and subscribing. Our mortgages aren't too far apart either, although sounds like you'll be finished with yours a lot sooner than I will be with mine! How are you finding this stage of the pregnancy? I can feel the kicks now which I like, but still tired.
macgirl he didn't actually realise - he drove the car home :eek: and it stalled and had to be pushed with help from the neighbour. He was grumbling about 'faulty electronics', it was me who said he'd probably misfuelled. I don't drive, so I don't get taken seriously when I make comments on the car - but I think it was rather an expensive way to show I do know what I'm talking about sometimes :rotfl:!
First welsh lesson of the year yesterday. Have redeemed £15.15 from tcb for ferry trip in Septemberwhich will be an OP. Also complained to Graze about one of my snacks, the pepper pistachios. They really were so peppery they were inedible! They kindly gave me 1/2 price off my next box, and I had a £1 redeem from a referral. Which reminds me, if anyone wants a free graze box to try, let me know and I'll send you a code.
In terms of to dos, am tired so nothing new planned, but with the 'excitement' of the misfuel, have a few things left from the other night:
* Unpack my case (home in control)
* Put away clean washing (home in control)

Hadn't heard of Graze - tres decadent! I was pondering over whether to re-start having organic fruit and veg boxes. We did it a few years ago, the stopped in the quest for debt freedom. We used Farmaround (as recommended in Gingham Ribbons fabulous meal planners on OS), but yesterday I got an opening offer from A&C so might give them a whirl. It feels right to support local farmers, eat to season and ease my eco-conscience.
Hope you are relaxing this evening.0 -
Have not succumbed to a veg box as we can get really good quality stuff dirt cheap off the market. Although today OH did a shop on way home from work in supermarket to get it out the way; and I hate having to make up a recipe, I am a complete recipe follower and would hate having to work out what to do with half a turnip, for example!
I've only just restarted the Graze (after 2 free boxes), I filled in a survey and they offered me 3 boxes 1/2 price. (normal price £3.50). I had been thinking about using them during the pregnancy, just so I had some healthy snacks in the office, they are fresh and varied and usually part of your 5 a day. I pay for them out of my pocket money account (£150pm), my social spending I anticipate will decrease the next few months as I'm not drinking or out as much. I get one box a week, 4 snacks, and it means I just need to bring lunch and a piece of fruit to work to get through the day. ( plus I haven't paid full price for a box yet, and if you threaten to cancel they'll give you 10% off :shhh: )Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Hi Museumworker. I have a lot more energy now and sickness (not that I had a great deal has subsided). I still have to negotiate with myself to get out of bed most mornings to go to work, but if I am honest I probably had to do that before anyway ;-)
I still can't say I am feeling kicks as such yet - wish I could. Sometimes I am convinced I am feeling some movement, other times I just have a more conscious feeling of the womb type area. Think my blood pressure may be slightly lower this week. I went to a pregnancy yoga class after work yesterday (I am still doing normal yoga as well, but my friend and I are about 4 weeks apart and thought we should do that together) and thought I might faint halfway through. I didn't, but it was close for a short while. Felt a bit odd on and off over this week. If that's as bad as it gets I am happy - my brother's missus had pregnancy diabetes with both of theirs and other people I know have had bad fainting spells and sickness.
Hope your tiredness subsides soon - I am sure it will. I am on average sleeping an extra hour every night recently which makes a difference (I averaged 6 hours for years before - less when I was younger).

Hi Museum worker
The around 3 months pregnancy stage was the worst for tiredness in my experiences. When I had my first baby I would sit down and feel as if I had just been welded into the sofa, my whole body was so heavy it was very strange. Anyway, it does get a LOT better, very soon. By my second scan I was a lot more like my old self. Get lots of sleep and look after yourself!!
Love the sound of the 'graze' thing, I was so hungry as well it was unreal. Literally the only time in my life that I would stand in front of the fridge and just eat stuff out of it, who needs plates!!!!

Its a good thing I can't drive earthgirl otherwise I probably would misfuel the care on a quite regular basis!
Lixi I'm right in thinking this is your first? They say you can feel your second a lot sooner, which is probably why I've been feeling it a few weeks now. :eek: to the feeling dizzy, that sounds quite intense. Do you think it was the positions, or were you hungry?
SJ1 I am definitely at the hungry hippo stage! Apparently the baby will double in size last week/this week which I can believe by the amount I am eating!! Keep thinking that I'll feel human again in another week or so, but I've been telling myself that for 7 weeks now!
Anyway, here's my weekend to do list:-

Been very uninspired with my make up of late, today I decided to use my personal fund to buy some more. Got most through ebay sellers, mascara that I love, the only eyeshadow I've found that ever stays put that has been discontinued, my favourite pen eyeliner, a lip gloss, and a sample size of a highlighter I've fallen in love with that costs over £20 full size! All of this around 1/2 price and delivered to the door (are cheap brands too, so weren't too much to begin with). I have been using mineral foundation but find it difficult to put on on the go. Yes, I am one of those lazy sluts who put their make up on on the tube. Bought a new gel foundation to try, which got free mascara with and £5 no7 voucher, so will see if any good glitches to use that for. Think being pregnant has got me in a real beauty rut so hopefully having all my favourites will get me out of it, without needing too much thought.
Have done two wash loads already and been for 2 swims in 2 days, am now exhausted and DD has friend to play so plan to do very little for rest of the day!Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Hi MW
You don't need to spend much on make-up - Barry M has some great eyeshadows for 3 quid! I find I tend to put it on in the same way, so looked on YT and found Pixiewoo. They are sisters who are make-up artists and give tutorials on a variety of styles. Yes, very girly, but a nice way to while away the evening
Have a nice evening0 -
Do they stay put macgirl? I must have the sweatiest eyes ever, no eyeshadow (even mac) ever stays put for long, even with primer!
Woke up at 3.30 with stress dream, had over 6 hours on my feet at work yesterday (plus about an hours walking) so was knackered. OH was v stressed last night when I could have done with some sympathy so went to bed in tears, probably why I couldn't sleep.
Anyway, in terms of targets, at the end of week 2 of 2012:
Aims:
* have a happy and healthy pregnancy.
Went swimming twice, and a walk on Sunday. Had mammoth 11 1/2 hour sleep on Saturday!
* spend quality time with DD and OH
OH and I enjoyed the walk with friends and watching a film together. DD didn't have specific time, but she enjoyed picking a present for her friend.
* get the house organised
I have now done 11 days of clearing the draining boards (missed one). Cleared 5 massive carrier bags full of stuff out of DD's room (need to put everything into sets to give away/chuck rubbish). Discussed kitchen organisation with OH, have ordered storage solutions so that we can tackle next weekend. (£60 spent there :eek:, but as is a priority I think we are going to have to spend money on each room throughout the year).
* OP mortgage
£400 paid in.
* achieve my AMA
Meeting with mentor arranged, work agreed to pay the £240 fee :j from training budget, and I ordered a book to read (was on my AMA plan and bought it second half, of course).
Edit: £27.06 OP made from Ama$on and tcbMortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89
