Hi folks!
I went into boots yesterday and didn't buy anything! I am impressed with myself. I knew it would just snowball, if I bought one thing, I'd get a no7 voucher which would burn a hole in my pocket!
Anyhoo, another 2 UUs: liz Earle super balm concentrate. Would definitely buy again, I love it and it really boosts my skin, I use it about once a week. Still got a brand new 10ml and sample size in the stash, so won't need to purchase again for a while.
And S&G glad pits deodorant. WBA, but must use up the other 9 in the cupboard. Just can't resist the 3 for 2s! It's definitely my favourite deo.

I count freebies as 'in' just the same as I count them 'out' because I'd get confused if I didn't!
OUTS!
John Masters Jojoba and Jinseng Exfoliator sample. Nice but WNBA
Ojon Sample of Restorative Hair Treatment - Not sure, maybe! It is nice.
Ojon Small Pot Restorative Hair Treatment - as above
Debeoah Lippman, Nail polish remover finger mitt. WNBA - gimmicky, pointless, acetone, overpriced.
caudalie anti wrinkle fluid sample - not sure, wasn't enough to tell if I liked it.
Burberry Body Perfume sample - WNBA, not my cuppa tea, nice enought though.
Christina Agularia secret potion perfume sample - WBA if it was a bargain and I kept it a secret! lol
Mary Greenwell Plum perfume sample - Nice, wouldn't rush out to buy it.
Bourjois volume fast and perfect rotating mascara - WNBA like the rotating brush but to clumpy formula
dermalogica agesmart renewal lip complex sample - WNBA - nice but nothing exciting
Nisim Spray Conditioner, has a bit left but binning it because it's drying!!
OPI small Avojuice berry flavour, lovely would buy again, nice to have in handbag. Got a couple though.
Schwarzkopf conditioner - from hair dye, binned
Ojon small size shampoo and conditioner - WNBA SLS and silicones
Mitchell and Peach shower gel sample - WNBA
Rituals Foam - nice but WNBA
I think thats it!0 -
Hi All,
I've had three UU over the last day or two:
Garnier 100% colour conditioner sachet - the kind that comes with hair dye - WNBA - this has been loitering about for ages, from what I remember I wasn't keen on the actual hair colourant itself and this is rubbish, no better than any old standard conditioner. To be honest I didn't even squeeze down to the last dredges I was so underwhelmed so there was probably another application in there, a bit naughty I know but nothing earth shattering!
Boots Extracts Mango Body Butter - WBA - This is absolutely gorgeous, smells divine, is a nice consistency and sinks into your skin well. Skin still felt really soft the next day after showering and skipping moisturising (just don't have time in the morning). If all my body lotion stash was as nice to use as this I wouldn't have such a backlog or aversion to religiously moisturising!
Naughty but Nice handcream - WBA - this came in the cutest little pot shaped like a strawberry cupcake, the cream itself smelt gorgeous and was nice and thick without being sticky or greasy - didn't last very long at all but from research online it only retails for about £5 and even cheaper on Ebay so definitely worth that. Will be refilling with another cream out of my stash and taking it back to work to cheer up my desk.
Gave myself a pat on the back after shopping in Chester on Saturday and resisting various obvious temptations :T It did help having the OH in tow as he actively discourages me from shopping of any sort by grumbling and looking miserable - when we were first together he used to pretend he didn't mind but it was clearly all a charade!! :rotfl:
Hope you've all had a good Monday0 -

I had a UU and now it might lead to an IN!
L'Oreal Studio Secrets Smoothing Face Primer - WBA! Found a sample lying around and decided to use it the other day. OMG! For the first time I only looked a little shiny right at the end of my 13.5 hour working day rather than a mess at lunchtime as usual. It didn't break me out and my blush looked exactly the same as it did at 5am that morning. Usually it's all faded away! Definitely going to have to get a pot of this now!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -

Do you guys consider it an "IN" if you get something for free? sorry it may sound like a stupid question, but just trying to figure out if I need to count freebies as "ins" or not. thanks xx
i do, but i have a fancy spreadsheet and graph going and i work off the net total for the month so i can actually see it going down. it gets an out when it goes so it needs an in when it joins otherwise i'd get confused and end up in negative stash.
got 2 more mini toothpastes free from the gym. i don't count these in my stash as i usually only have the one but if the gym will let me have them i'll keep taking them off their hands, its the one i use and will save me buying a full size tube.
just incase none of you know, i read in this weeks stylist if you take 3 empties to a Khiels counter you can get 3 50ml samples of their products and if you take an old foundation to a CoverFX counter they will give you a 50ml foundation in your colour in exchange.0 -
UU! Santuary Handwash ... WBA love the smell, but have lots of solid soaps that I need to use somehow! (Will stick to liquid soap in the kitchen though) Onwards and Upwards!0

I do personally count them as IN's - whether a freebie or a gift. It all adds to the stash that I'm trying to control.
I don't, however, sit on the naughty step for freebie IN'sthey are guilt free
makes total sense! thank youNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge
