  • Oh, forgot to ask - I did the L'Occitane free 30ml handcream thing on Facebook yesterday and I haven't had the email yet - was this a number limited thing? Thought I could pop into the L'Occitane shop in Islington when I go to the QVC Beauty Bash. Anyone else had their email?

Thank goodness it's Sunday - this has been a rough week and I'm glad to see the back of it. Things have settled down a little but still some stuff is rumbling on to next week (and the next etc).

I PMON tonight with Nails Inc Jermyn Street. No further movement on my splutterers, they just seem to endlessly go on. Still it is all very :money:

    Hi all!
Hope everyone has had a good weekend,

    5 UU for me:
    Lush angel's delight soap
    Lush Rockstar soap
    Lush melting snowman
OS Black cherry and almond shower gel
    Nivea 48 hour fresh deodorant

All possible buy agains. I have no deodorants left, not even minis! So will have to use a man's one till I get to the shops tomorrow!

Another UU so that is another £1 in my pot. Boots No 7 Protect and perfect hand cream - sample size (15ml). This had a nice smell and sank in to my hands well but my HG hand cream products are L'Occitane shea butter hand cream, LE Hand Repair and Aveda Hand Relief (which I got to test for The Beauty Bible). Some way to go before I need to buy more handcream but these will be my 3 faves when I need to make a purchase.

I'm getting "low" on hand cream for my handbag and to use at work. At the moment I am using a small sized OPI Gingerlily lotion (not liking it though as it's very floral smelling). After that I have a 30ml tube of L'Occitane shea butter hand cream and a small tube of TBS Hemp hand cream so will be looking to buy a replacement once this little lot has gone. I looked at the L'Occitane sample on fb but the nearest L'Occitane shop to me is in Manchester and I rarely go there to shop nowadays. My favourite is the L'Occitane Lavender hand cream although I'm thinking of trying the Leighton Denny one as it has white mulberry in it and I love Molten Brown White Mulberry hand lotion. Anyone tried this?

Sorry, do not know how to do quote yet.

No, I was very good. I thought I might buy the neutral option, but decided to go through my stash and individually buy anything I really wanted. I love the correction fluid and brushes, I sometimes have eczema on my fingers and find this does not make it flare too much, also I like Renovate and Bio-build. Normally I go for brights and dark colours, but my nails are in very poor condition after much mis-use before and after a house move. I dipped into several of the presentations, they had masses of sell outs even without our contribution!

That's the way I look at. In the end I would have wanted one of the neutrals and maybe try the Brilliance Serum because my nails are very yellowed due to me constantly painting them. As these two items "in any Leighton Denny salon" would have cost £22.00 rather than the £30.00 plus p&p for the TSV I decided against it.

As you say LD will not become impoverished because we did not buy!
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

5 items on ebay, as they say every penny counts.
I'm doing a little system of paying money into a jar and will also use ebay money for a treat for my sister and I. Have no idea what I will save but have 7 months so will see how good I can be.

sorry to snip but when did you receive the BS email, I've checked mine and didn't get one :(
away to catch up, everyone has been busying since I checked yesterday!:p

I got it on Jan 1st, had to take a copy of the email into store to get the free lip butter, maybe I had spent to much last year ;)

I have 2 ins to confess to this weekend :o

S&G Breakfast Scrub and Hand Food from the xmas tin with the apron in it, bought with my Boots points so no actual pennies changed hands!

Don't think I have had any UU this week, so will need to try harder!

Hope everyone is well, I won't be able to catch up on the 7 pages since I last checked in tonight or I will be far too late going to bed!

It's always Monday again so soon :(

No email yet, however the closing date is tomorrow so emails will be sent out after that, and it'll be the larger size since they reached the traget number of fans :D

Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

i wondered how i'd lost you all and found out i hadn't added the subscription duh! hope you're all well, will go back and check all your posts.
been sorting things out of late from my stock to give away/throw away or UU in readiness for our move, still got loads of stuff, but i've realised today that progress has been made.
This time last year my stuff was in an 80lt container and another box, now i can get my stuff, Mr LT's stuff and space in the same 80lt container. I still go waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much stuff but there's a lot less of it.
  • I have a UU

Neutrogena daily scrub for blackheads. WIBA? Would have if it went with my Clarisonic but that doesn't work with anything scrubby so no
