UU, I'm on a roll ... Hydrazone by Guinot 3 ml. Lovely stuff, but iirc about £50 a jar, so unlikely to buy it, not when I have Elemis to get through.

And oi, YOU LOT, bad influences... got my first Kipling Bag today... I needed a laptop sleeve and it was so cute, and so purple, and had extra pockets for BITS which most laptop sleeves forget about. And was in the sale.

Hurrah - although I think we may need a new thread soon all these Kipling bags LOL :rotfl:!

Kiplingmonkey - you have not won these tickets, you have paid for them with your hard earned cash over many months!!! I know - I did it for years!! This is the first time in (6?) years that I have not been sent tickets - a coincidence that this happens months after me joining this thread, I think not!!! Don't get me wrong, you will have the BEST day, and I am very jel!!!! Keep me updated with all of your freebies.

Also - the last time you went was it a case of 'here is an empty bag, go and fill it with freebies'?? If so, you might find this has changed. Last year the venue had also moved (Islington I think). We all got a goodie bag on the way out and each 'stall' gave away almost nothing. Instead, they offered their services - facials, manicures, make-up's, hair do's, brow shaping etc. We didn't realise this when we went in, so didn't run about like idiots, booking 'appointments' with everyone. so we didn't get that much done. My advice to you - spend 30mins running about booking up the rest of your time there. May as well get what you can while its on offer!!

Thanks for the heads up about needing to book - we are planning to be there for doors open so we will book up quickly! I last went 7 years ago with my BFF who got an invite 2 years running and we got lots of samples to try and a goodie bag. My tickets are courtesy of a prize draw which was running on the website over Xmas so am taking my BFF to say thank you for taking me all those years ago (we must have just missed each other Scrappie as it sounds like you started going after my friends' last invite). I will report back but am getting quite excited now...
quick question - Do you guys consider it an "IN" if you get something for free? sorry it may sound like a stupid question, but just trying to figure out if I need to count freebies as "ins" or not. thanks xx

Like lots of others on here, I do as it is the only way I can keep track of my stash properly on my spreadsheet.

I also agree about the Elemis tri-enzyme range - the facial wash is brilliant. I haven't tried the night cream or the mask as I managed (shock horror) to resist that particular tsv but once my stash has reduced then these are on my must try list as I am v impressed with the facial wash.

  • UU - dove conditioner, sample bottle. I do want to buy again, but not until I have used up my 3 other conditioners currently in the cupboard :o
IN - free clinique mascara. Gave them an old mascara though to get it... so does it perhaps make me even lol?

The Christina Aguillera perfume I used up the other day is now on offer in Boots for £13ish for a perfume and body lotion and bag! I do love that perfume and I was going to hold off, but I can't really say no for that price can I!?

    Hi all,

I joined this challenge this time last year, but whilst haven't been on MSE much, have continued with the 'no purchasing toiletries' ethos during 2011, in fact I bought no gift sets at Christmas which is unbelievable for me!!!

So I shall sign up again to keep myself motivated - just need to do a stock take first...

Well done to everyone so far!

I shall try and be a GOOD INFLUENCE and if you use lots of tri-enzyme remember your liquid layer spf 30. Although I dont remember very often (dont tell the beautician that does my facials when I treat myself lol)

Hello ladies! I'm back with good news. I've just got out the bath and i'e had 3 UU- 2 bath salts and a free hotel body lotion. Wouldn't go out of my way to get these again. Either way some more pennies for the pot!
