Would seem it is £5 off £20 spend on the Diet Coke Benefit offer, must have just doubled it in my sleep-groggy state this morning! Oops0 -

I've tried it before with another S&G product (one of the conditioners I think?) and ended up with a free giant tub of Flake Away:eek: I don't dare complain again I don't want any more of that stuff...ever....:rotfl:
LOL! OK thats a good one.
Actually you just reminded me I have one of their conditioners in stash, used once and hated forever, I think I would have had a better effect washing my hair with pritt stick.0 -
Has anyone tried the S&G Pulp-Friction Fruity Foam Scrub?
I tried it this morning and URGH! It was so difficult to wash off, and applying it was like spreading thick PVA glue on  The smell wasn't too great either. Not looking forward to using it again that's for sure :rotfl:

I just tried mine that I got in the Boots OOTW on my hands and it washed off fine. It seems nice and scrubby too! Unlike their face wash with hardly any beads.
Have you tried giving it a good shake in case it just thickened a bit at the bottom?
I think I'll be joining you ladies in February - I've had quite a few INs in Dec/Jan so don't need shower gel or body butter for the rest of the year!
One thing I do need is a good facial moisturiser. I have very dry skin and have previously used Eucerin and Avene as they're not too greasy to put makeup over (unlike things like E45). Can anyone recommend any that are a decent price? How long do you think it will be until Boots have 3 for 2 on skincare again? There's only an offer on S&G right now. There's usually such good offers on toiletries that I don't think I've paid full price for anything in my bathroom!

For the past (approx) 9 months I've been washing my face with a Clinique soap. It lasted incredibly well but got down to such a small piece that I couldn't rub any more off it. In my utter reluctance to buy another one (£12 a pop!), and my additional reluctance to spend £3+ on a facewash (what s skinflint) I did a wee bit of research and bought an 80p bar of Wrights Coal Tar Soap to use instead. It's antibacterial and doesn't look to have any of the chemical rubbish I'm sure hides away in most shower gels and facewashes.
Thus far it's really excellent. Washes my oily face lovely and clean and didn't dry it out, and this morning I used it with my exfoliatey gloves on my body too. I've made a little note in my study diary of when I started using it because I'm really curious to see how long a bar lasts.
I think soap is my new favourite beauty product.0 -

Random suggestion, but have you tried washing your face with aqueous cream? It's really gentle as a cleanser but is a non-greasy version of E45 in my experience.
Dirt cheap too.0
