I just tried mine that I got in the Boots OOTW on my hands and it washed off fine. It seems nice and scrubby too! Unlike their face wash with hardly any beads.

Have you tried giving it a good shake in case it just thickened a bit at the bottom?

I'll try shaking it to see if that makes a difference :D I found the same with the face one, it's a bit... well... pointless. The beady bits are too small, soft and spread out to actually do anything.

Me too. I will need some Erase Paste soon (my benefit pencil concealer is getting very stubby) and I had been saving Advantage Points towards it. Getting a fiver off would have been nice but alas it costs £19.50 too.

I'm after erase paste! powderflage is nearing the end of its life and is also £19.50. so annoying! it'll prob be cheaper for me to wait until boots do one of their offers for points. i might get it on the next get 3 products across premium beauty and £10 of points, combined with the minimum spend ones from the machines. i'd get those two and my origins ginzing.
  • I can also recommend Happy Hair shampoo and conditioner!

UU Mitchum powder fresh deodorant WIBA got another out of the stash and one left in stock, got this under control :-)

UU 50ml TBS Shea bodybutter WBA but not for a while got a few more to get through!

I have the opposite problem, I have loads of boots points (like over £40's worth) but have no idea what to spend them on. In a way I treat them as a bonus so would like to spend them on a treat at some point but then think maybe I should use them to buy my staples...but that's just boring!

IKWYM: I listed a few BS bodybutters and body scrubs, and they look like they will do alright, but the S&G items seemed to be going for about £2.something each! I'm better to get rid of some of my BS stuff and keep the S&G, which I have never tried anyway, as I can't use it all up, but I will use the little S&Gs up first, and then sell/give the big ones away if I'm not keen.

    Good thinkin', Pickle! :p

I've always found that S&G go for good prices but BS stuff doesn't.
I have gone off S&G, I've had a couple of hand creams that have turned and they are rank, currently using one on my feet but it makes my hands stink:mad:

Slight setback to stash reduction today when a box of Lush stuff appeared (late Christmas gift). I don't really know their stuff very well but have got Happy Hippy shower gel, a blackberry bath bomb, a "bubble bar" called amandopondo and a fruity soap called Miranda. Quite excited about using it, actually.

Broke out the last body scrub in the stash (never thought I'd be saying that!) today and my quest for a properly scrubby scrub is over! Superdrug vitamin E is the holy grail. It actually scrubs! Now just have to sit the temptation to buy 4 tubes "just in case".

Also on my last bottle of shampoo. I feel quite giddy. Now all I need to do is make inroads on my monstrous stashes of fake tanning products, hand cream and make up.......

For the past (approx) 9 months I've been washing my face with a Clinique soap. It lasted incredibly well but got down to such a small piece that I couldn't rub any more off it. In my utter reluctance to buy another one (£12 a pop!), and my additional reluctance to spend £3+ on a facewash (what s skinflint) I did a wee bit of research and bought an 80p bar of Wrights Coal Tar Soap to use instead. It's antibacterial and doesn't look to have any of the chemical rubbish I'm sure hides away in most shower gels and facewashes.

Thus far it's really excellent. Washes my oily face lovely and clean and didn't dry it out, and this morning I used it with my exfoliatey gloves on my body too. I've made a little note in my study diary of when I started using it because I'm really curious to see how long a bar lasts.

I think soap is my new favourite beauty product.

oooh where did you buy that? sounds interesting and worth a try:D
