Your New Year Resolution

Lose a bit of weight and be a bit fitter. The kids have a Kinect for their xbox so my theory is this may come about as embarrasing dad dancing!0

I always feel if we start the year well its a foundation to work from. We've put up a new stretch of electric fencing and moved the horses this morning, and done a little bit of weeding. I'm not making resolutions this year, rather, approaching the year with an attitude of resolve.0

Does anyone want to venture a New Year's resolution?
I'll kick off with....
'This year I intend to indulge my own needs!'
I hope to get back into running and successfully tread that fine line between training hard but not excessively and getting injured, so that I can do the Dorking 10 mile road race in under 90 mins. I was on target last year but caught a flu a week before the race (very frustrating).
90 mins is not a great time I know, but ok for my age and on a slightly hilly course for the last few miles, which caught me out 2 years ago, the one and only time that I did run it.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
I'm going to stop arguing with strangers on the internet.0

As usual...to pack in smoking. I normally last to around the 3rd or 4th.
I think it's best to assume it'll be carp for a couple of months and still tough after that, but if you can get to 6 months then it starts to look less attractive.
I don't know when it happened, but one day I just couldn't imagine ever enjoying fags, and I was quite a heavy smoker. Now I run from anyone who comes near me with the vile things.
Still remember fishing with my pipe full of Three Nuns with a degree of fondness, but when you find yourself inhaling that stuff, it really is time to pull the plug! :rotfl:0 -

I want to stop being a bit of a t.w.a.t. the whole time, not that likely but I'll give it a shot.0

Some brilliant ideas.
And you're all lovely.... no t.w.a.t.s around here

No, I never played in a brass band. Too much smoking & not enough puff.0
