  • £5.00 PAD for me today please.
All the money I have been PADing has been going towards one of my credit cards. From now until I go and stay with my Dad in Australia I will PAD towards my spending money if thats okay?
I would rather do it the MSE way by saving up than getting into debt to fund my trip.

I don't speak to my real mum, but my sortofmum is someone who used to look after me when I needed it and I moved into hers when I moved out of mums... easier to say sortofmum as if I say her name no-one knows what I mean :) Next week me and MrS are going home, which means to hers. She is pretty much my mum in every way except biological but I don't call her mum either... bit confusing for people who have no idea what I'm talking about! :D

:rotfl: I didn't mean to be nosy, just thought that "sortofmum" was a lovely phrase. Biology isn't always all it is cracked up to be :) It's great that you have a lovely sortofmum to love and trust who loves and trusts you back.

It's ok, I'm happy enough to share... sometimes people just feel awkward when I bluntly tell them how it is as it's not a nicey normal family story :)

I'm sure Little Miss Gap would love to talk to you. She doesn't have a nicey normal family story either but thinks she is the only person in the world like that. It is her dad that is [STRIKE]my[/STRIKE] the problem! I don't feel awkward at all with your story but then sometimes I can be quite blunt too, without even realising it :o
