Beccie - thanks for the reply. Your situation sounds awful and I hope it gets resolved soon in your favour. I'm now praying that my problems can get resolved long before that stage as I was stressed out enough this weekend trying to sort this out. can'tunderstand why it would be so much higher when we aren't do anything significantly diffrently and are supposed to be on a price freeze. Made notes of my conversation with the customer advisor person yesterday so I'm hoping that doesn't become the start of a large file!!! Why do these huge corporations have to make life so difficult?:(

I'm sure yours won't get to the stage ours did (it would really worry me if they could be that incompetent twice!), sorry didn't mean to worry you :o Just wanting to make sure you didn't get bullied like we did :( We didn't use heating all winter we were so worried :(

Anyway, I do hope it comes good for you, do keep us updated :) I found online chat useful if you are wanting to keep an exact record of what was said as well. I'm glad I did, I have one amusing conversation with one of the employees whining at me that the electric company *only* makes 5% profit a year. Boohoo. As I said to him, 5% of millions is still quite a lot.

Fingers crossed for you Jetcat xx

Sorry off-topic :o£20 to the CC for me please :D

Energy company wants to change my DD for combined gas and electric from £58 per month to £82:eek: and even worse reckons I'm over £360 in arrears and they want to take it all at once in May :eek::eek: - it's more than my mortgage! Cue distressed phone call tonight - not sorted but have to take meter readings every day for a week and then call back:(

Also, if it appears that it's going to turn into a bit of a lengthy complaint then start taking notes now as it gets hard to remember details such as who you spoke to on what date etc

I one hundred per cent agree with beccie, take notes, definitely starting them now. If things work out in another couple of phone calls then you can just bin the notes but if things escalate then you will have details from day one. It is amazing what you can forget when your head is full of all the nonsense they are telling you. I have had problems with the power company, the tax credit office and the city council (). The tax credit office was the one I didn't keep notes for and I should have. It got sorted out in the end but they denied all knowledge of what I was talking about :mad:

Internet back up and running at work so my PADs for Tuesday and Wednesday add up to £13.06 please Allie :)
