I knew yesterday would be a spendy day. I got my shopping and diesel for the ever hungry car but they are from their appropriate budgets :)

So my purse looks like this so far

    Sunday - NSD :)
    Monday - NSD :)
    Tuesday - NSD :)
    Wednesday - NSD :)
Thursday - £1.00 tea fund at work, £2.16 to post ebay parcel, 84p change intro 'dross jar' = £4.00 :(

    £12/£4

I am hoping for a final NSD today to round the week off nicely :)

    Have a great day x x

    Hi guys

Sorry I've been very absent, am working a lot of overtime again - 8-8 most days. Have already been paid it in Dec pay, so absolutely have to work it!!!

Have had a spendy week, but all from budgets that I'd allowed for, not really any incidentals! PLus, had a bargain this morning in Starbucks, as they forgot to charge me for my coffee! (I always get them for me and colleagues on Fridays - they give me the money of course!!!) So that was £3 saved!

    Sun 1 Jan: Parking £2.50, Water £1, Starbucks £4.60 - Total for day £8.10
Mon 2 Jan: 3 for £5 on books, 2 for £7 on books, Hotel Chocolat SALE chocs, £2.75 (also presents from presents budget, clothes from clothes budget, and make up from toiletries budget) - Total for day £14.75 plus got a free nail varnish, woop!
Tue 3 Jan: NSD for challenge (bagels from food budget and petrol top up from petrol budget)
Wed 4 Jan: NSD for challenge (clothes from clothes budget - Tesco knitwear!)
Thu 5 Jan: NSD for challenge (pint milk from food budget)
Fri 6 Jan: NSD so far (possible petrol from petrol budget)

    Total so far: £22.85/£30

    LC

PS - actually today may be a NSD for the challenge! I may or may not be going to the pub after work. If I do it's a maximum of two drinks so will be under my pledge for the week. If I don't, then there isn't any reason to spend money as I have tea at home (and chocolate and wine if required!!!) and I'm not smoking, so no cigs to buy! Cool beans!!!

  • Although I went to Tesco today, I was spending from the grocery budget, so it was a NSD for me again.
  • £2 bus fare for me, plus £2.50 for a Tesco meal deal (went shopping at Aldi but only spent next weeks food budget)

Please put me down for £25 this week

    Sunday - NSD

Monday - Newspaper, £0.45 Bread and cucumber £1.65

    Tuesday - NSD

    Wednesday - NSD

    Thursday - Costa's, £6.35 pineapple juice, £2.20

    Friday - Sainsbury's £16.69 chips £1.40

failed to keep within budget - £28.74/25

However, my food included £5 on almonds which will last a while. I thought better to get them today rather than go again next week when I was more likely to buy more

Costa's is always a big part of this budget as I either have to pay for 2 or 3 of us (my family)

Oh, and I gave up chips before Christmas - and now it is the end of twelfth night, my indulgencies have finished again

    Hi again!

    First post updated so far!

For those declaring tomorrow, I won't be on until the evening most likely as going out with the family for a joint birthday lunch for me and mum (mum 3rd, me 17th) at Strada - annoyingly I have £20 of Tesco vouchers for Strada somewhere and do you think I can find them?!!! GAH! Anyway, see y'all tomorrow!
