So I may have accidently spent all my Amazon Vouchers yesterday towards a Kindle.....
But I thought it was better to spend them on it than get into more debt!
I did also order a slendertone type belt for £26 and some weights so my spend was actually £156 but only £70 went onto my Tesco credit card.
I use that on Amazon to get both Tesco and Nectar points when I buy from there.
Should get 312 Nectar points back for my shop and I have £7.49 in there at the minute with the 1000 confused.com points to come too so can claim £10 Amazon once that is back and then I am on a big swagbucks mission this month too.
Also need to find some stuff to ebay, Simon has a load of stuff he wants to sell too so we need to get our butts in gear.
Its July 1st today so 8 days until my birthday! :TNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Well nearly back to 400 swagbucks already! I am getting really addicted to it right now, only managed 1 survey on there today though but have made 200 bucks just today.
Not much else to report.
Spent £6.50 in Tesco yesterday but had a NSD day today and should do tomorrow and Thursday, off out Friday night to start my birthday weekend celebrations.
3 weeks until payday as well. Already got that money spent in my head, need to retax the car this month, not sure if I will tax for 6 months or 1 year.
Prob best to do it for 1 year as you never know how things can change in a year and its not a worry for a whole year then. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Yay for the kindle, i love mine.
I have been a bit rubbish at swagbucks last few days, need to get going again.0 -
So its my birthday weekend this weekend!
Went out last night which was a bit of a let down as my friends were knackered as one had been helping the other move house!
Then I dropped my purse which had my bank card and driving licence in! Bank card I cancelled straight away but not overly impressed about having to pay £20 for a new photo driving licence
Luckily there was no cash in it!
£110 left in the bank....17 days to payday.
£12.72 in DDs to go out and I need to pay off £35 on my Virgin credit card too but I am hoping my birthday cards have some money in them to cover what I am likely to go and spend tomorrow on credit cards when I go to London to see Rock of Ages and look round Camden
So daily balance is £3.66......:o
I am getting overly addicted to Swagbucks again. On a mission to hit the daily goal everyday this month, managed it for last 7 days so getting at least 25 extra swagbucks! Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Hope you are having a lovely birthday weekend! London should be fun, I have heard Rock Of Ages is really good.
That is rubbish about dropping your purse, is so annoying having to sort all your cards out and paying for a new driving license.
Well done on swagbucks. I need to start trying more.0 -
Rock of Ages was amazing! Was a lovely day out for me and Simon

Got £160 cash for my birthday, Simon spent me a lot on me in London too and got me some pressies including a George Foreman Grill.....:o He meant well, knows I want to lose weight and was moaning I want a grill that works! :rotfl:
Got pressies from my 2 best friends too!
I think I am suffering from Swagbucks addiction, 200ish bucks away from another £5 voucher, that will be £10 in less than 2 weeks now!
Simon informed me today that our mortgage will be going through next week and I will be getting a cheque for £350 so that means I can use it to pay for my periodontist treatment and car tax!
I am really struggling with what to spend my birthday cash on.
Either want to put it in savings, buy a bearded dragon or get a new tattoo but as I want us to buy a different house I think the saving option is the best one.....I can get new pets and tattoos next year.
I also need a fund to get my other tattoos redone as they are getting all faded

Did a qualifying survey for Nectar Canvess yesterday to do a 2 week research project where you get 24,000 points if you do it all and got an email today saying I have been accepted to do it!!! :j
Wooohoo thats an extra £120 worth of vouchers coming my way!

Swagoholic clocking in......
I have now managed to earn £10 from Swagbucks in under 2 weeks, am considering going for £100 Paypal cash now as I have managed to download the SBTV app which will get me 50 swagbucks everyday with no effort whatsoever.....
Determined to get the house fund up to £8k by end of year...... will be £5k by end of July!!! :beer:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Am in a bit of a rage this evening so hiding away upstairs to try calm down.....
Some good news (although some of you may think this is harsh.....) is that after today I won't have to see Simon's kids for 16 days!!!!
:j:beer::j
They are off on holiday and I am very excited about it.
He is not though so I can't tell him its brilliant news.....
If I had known 2.5 years ago what I know now then well I would still be single....:o
In money related news I am up to £15 of Amazon vouchers from Swagbucks in 18 days, not bad really. I have 13 days to get the other £10 worth to reach the months target.
One week until payday and a stupid amount of bills this month but luckily with the house money, bonus money and birthday money I can cover them all and still comfortably save £250 although I need more than that to reach £5k but I should be able to sort that too.
I had my hair and make up trial for the wedding last night, I looked so girly it was hilarious, I will be posting lots of photos of the wedding on FB though in September so there will be proof.
As kids are going to be away I am going to be locking Simon in the house to get building work done/ junk cleared for the next 2 weeks too!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Another £250 gone to the periodontist today!
Have to go back in approx 8 weeks for another check up, he did mention that I might have to have some gum surgery if this doesn't work!
Hoping not but what will be will be!
And I am going to need at least 1 implant in next 5-10 years anyway....:o
I got told all this before but will try to gorget about it for a while again......
As I had to go to Periodontist I took a half day at work so after that I went to bank to cash in mine and Simons cheque for the house funds.
My half of the money will be going on paying off my virgin credit card.
Used the £150 of my birthday cash on the periodontist and put £80 on a credit card which won't need paying off until August payday. Used £20 cash that my Dad gave me to get a new driving licence as well, will order that on payday.
Still going strong on swagbucks, raking in the extra bonus bucks hoping they will do the same goal meter in August too!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0
