They are 20 and 26, they want their own room so looking at two rooms or that price, going 9 - 12th April.

There are lots of rooms available for less than $100 a night

Ballys, Flamingo, Paris (maybe) Harrahs, Imperial Palace. they are all central.

    Excalibur, Luxor further south

Riviera, Circus Circus, Stratosphere further north.

All of the above should be less than $100 a night

I havent checked though, have you followed any links from the first post

the first place I looked Ballys is $45/$55 plus tax a night for your dates (friends and family rates that you can use)

Will the 20 year old be 21 by then? I can't imagine going so close to the age where you are allowed to enjoy everything but not being able to join in.

Or do you not have drinking and gambling in mind?

Oh yes that age didnt register with me.

20 must be the worst possible age to go to Vegas, unles she turns 21 while there.

No drinking, No gambling, No entry to clubs or bars, they will check ID everywhere

Of course if she is not bothered by any of that then she could still have a good time

I know!! she will just have to stand outside lol. I hadn't really thought about it when we booked, she is 21 on 12th but we are travelling down to Indio for the Coachella music festival that day, which is why we only have three nights in the resort. I'm sure we will find lots to do though :)

Thanks for that info, i have followed a few of the links but it is a bit overhwelming the number of hotels to choose from so thought I would get some advice from the "experts"!

Can she not get into a bar and drink soft drinks?

Of the ones I listed Paris is prob the best but you may be pushed to fit it in your budget.

Ballys would def be a good choice, large rooms, central and cheap

Waaahh! Leaving on the day she turns 21!!! It is like the worlds worst torture!!

At least you are going somewhere pretty damn cool to make up for it :D

They do ID everywhere so make sure she knows not to get her hopes up that she can 'slip through the net' like underage people can over here.

I only have experience of 1 bar where myself and my husband (aged 30 and 40 at the time) didn't have ID and we weren't allowed inside.

(it was the Nine Fine Irishmen In NYNY)
