I've finally got 3 friends to commit to coming with me next June. However, the flights I had in mind have gone up for about 575 to about 650 quid :(

I was thinking maybe because today is Sunday, that the airlines might put the prices up a bit as (I imagine) lots of people tend to book on a Sunday? Can anyone confirm that that might be the case? In which case I will wait until during the week and hopefully the prices will drop! But if not then I might as well book now.

i think there are many factors to affect price changes, generally the rule is: if you're happy with the price, then book it. it can always go up, always go down.

Think I'll probably leave it for a day or two, not really happy with that price to be honest!

There is a pumpkin picture as the latest entry and you have to find the same picture hidden in their tmeline. I've just found it. It's a post dated:
    1 July 2006 at 22:00

You then click the link and enter your name and email address and they send you a $10 voucher code to use on Restaurant.com. Does anyone know if there are any valid codes at the moment please?

And I do have a partially used LVA Member Reward book if anyone is going between now and the end of the year (as normal some of the vouchers expire late December). If anyone is interested send me a message with a number between 1 and 100 and will leave it a few days for people to have a chance...if there's more than one potential taker whoever is closest to my number will take it...I've already told hubby what my number is and I don't cheat. :)

hi again - I have one taker whose trip is pretty imminent so will call time on this tomorrow evening - so if anyone else is interested please let me know...just don't want to miss out on getting it to someone who will use it.

I saw Nathan Burton last year. It's not a bad show for a freebie. However, there are very few free tickets available for each show. I was staying at the Flamingo (where the show was playing last year, but it's now moved to Planet Hollywod) and was told that free tickets for the next 5 days were already allocated. I booked the next available free tickets. We were standing at the back of the theatre and there were only about 10 people standing. So, my advice for anyone wanting free standing tickets is to book them as soon as you get to Vegas to give yourself the best chance of getting them.

Agree with this - if you're only there for a few days chances of getting the freebies may be slim but if there for a week would be worth going to get tickets ASAP after arriving for a future date...when we saw him at Flamingo we didn't have to stand though.

Best part of the show to me was Jeff Civillico who now has his own afternoon show (after which he goes to do his bit at Nathan Burton)....Nathan Burton was good, especially for free, but kind of did the same trick over and over to my mind...went with pebbles to see Jeff Civillico last week and it was hilarious...similar freebie ticket offer.

Pebbles was in town much earlier than us and did manage to snag 4 of the free tickets which was awesome. The show would be worth $10 if freebies aren't available, I think...there is duplication between his solo act and what he does at Nathan Burton but I do think he's worth seeing solo.

    Just to reiterate

nathan burton freebies are almost impossible to get as has been said thay are only available days/weeks in advance

Dont despair though, $10 tickets are usually available and if you get there early you can get right to the front even though the tickets are for seats at back, at least that is what happened when we went.

Personally i though it was worth $10 but no more (and there are dearer seats)
