Hello everyone,

I'm back again and 2012 is definately going to be my year to put a serious amount of money (well for me being a SAHM anyway!) in the savings pot ready for our dream holiday and next BTL property deposit. Well thats the plan anyway!!!!! ;)

OK I have decided to stick to what I know and accordingly craft is gonna be my thing to help put us on track to our dreams.

Here are my 2012 resolutions (and this time I aim not to break them!!!!):-

1. Find as many outlets as possible to sell my handmade creations (i.e approach outlets such as hairdressers and shops to sell my items for a commission / sale or return basis, craft fairs, school fetes, etsy, ebay etc).

2. Start designing and selling printable craft sheets/sets/cds on sites such as cardmakingdownloads, aimee asher, craft rabbit, Ebay and craftsuprint.

3. Make almost every christmas pressie for friends or family using what I already have in my overflowing craft room.

3. Loose some weight as I am getting quite porky now after eating nearly all my christmas chocolate (and there was an awful lot!!)

4. OK and now for the biggie (I'm breaking out in a sweat just even thinking about it!) - CRAFT SPENDING ON ESSENTIAL ITEMS ONLY (such as adhesives, card blanks etc and only when I have absolutely nothing of the above left) FOR THE WHOLE OF 2012!

I can do this - but I know I will need lots of support along the way so please join me fellow crafters, mortgage free wannabes and anyone else who wants a laugh (as I now most of posts are gonna start with .... but I so want the latest range from ........(fill gap with papermania, k&Co, martha stewart, my craft studio etc, etc!!!).

I will be strong.

Targets for me for 2012:-

1. To add at least £3000 to the pot in 2012
2. To only spend a maximum of £100 on crafting goodies in the whole year (I've trying to be realistic)
3. To loose at least 1 stone in weight over the course of 2012 (and not put it back on!!!)
4. To make more handmade gifts for christmas than 2011 - so the target I gonna aim for is 40 (Last year I made 39).

So bring on 2012!!!!
