    Dane gerous/medic1978,

The e2save phones you mention are now clearly labelled as Clearance, which should enable you to make a better choice.

    Jazzyjeff,

We would expect (when the tool goes live), it's updated once a day or so.

good site. maybe as a future enhancement you can display the number of cashback claims you need to make over the contract term.

would suggest adding sim only deal and PAYG
  • The Vodafone tarrifs are a bit of a pain but is there any chance of adding Vodafone as a retailer?

Also do these cover web only deals? - High street shops (usually the networks) have different deals.

Also this is just a personal thing but I'd prefer to see an option to view all the search results on a single page.

Looks good so far though! :)

I think I can answer for MobilePhoneChecker.co.uk here...

It would be impossible to maintain a database inclusive of in-store prices unless you actually had full access to the relevant store systems and I very much doubt that the retailer networks in question would open up their pricing systems to just about anyone who asked.

    orainsear,

I think it's fair to say that the scope of the MobilePhoneChecker is to cover all those tariffs available via the online retailers. Like Reestit states, it would be nearly impossible to gain access to the amount of local retailer's systems to provide a comprehensive comparison here.

In terms of Vodafone - Yes, we'll be looking to include all the major retailers on here. However, this is just a test system at present. It'll be left how it is for the time being to enable people to post more comments here, and then, (possibly), extended.

Good idea, could there be an option added to filter out cashback deals?

    Cheers,

Good tool thank you - very easy to use and narrow down - similar to the new tool on e2save's website (other retailers could learn from their's and your's as some sites are almost impossible to search through to what you are actually interested in!).

Looking at the range of retailers that you include, which currently appear to be just the "major" retailers, are you making a judgement about who to include/exclude (based on comments/feedback on the discuss boards about, for example, their terms and conditions for cashback), or is this simply a comparison tool with no reference to the reputation of the organisation?
