Yeah gonna ask... I wonder if I would be entitled to a graduate accountI should have had one instead of being stung with a loan and a ulitmate reward account... I was soooo unaware of what I was doing back then...

Welcome aboard worrier and littlemsstitch and welcome back forgottendreams
theposhbint you've just given me inspiration to call Lloyds TSB when I get home to see if they'll freeze my interest and reduce my overdraft each month if I agree to pay x amount. Worst that'll happen is they'll say no afterall

ugh im back
just spent 3 hrs is it? making a lob a choc game out of a drawer, card and a shed load of double sided tape  Lily has thoroughly tested it and it seems to work well, it seems in my eagerness to make the top prize a tad harder to obtain (as ive only bought 5 top prize choc bars
) ive made it nigh on impossible for a 4 year old child :rotfl: it even took me half a dozen goes to get a choc into the top box :rotfl: . . . oh well the medium and small prizes are well easy and I have loads of those prizes, plus you know there will be that one kid with the aim of a javalin thrower
Also made a small treasure chest, OMG was that fiddly!! Its got an attached domed lid and ive managed to get 8 chocolate coins in it (I did say it was small!) and now im worrying that maybe its too small and maybe I should make a little island for it to stand on  what do you all think??

Hello everyone, I'm sure you already know this, but in case not, have you seen that this thread is mentioned in this week's MSE email from Martin? We're famous :T
Debt at LBM (31.05.11): £16,750

Hi everyone,
I'm so sorry I haven't kept up with this thread, not quite sure where the day's go lol
But could I please update my total,
#175 £125/£5500
Wish it was more but its a startdoing ok at the grocery challenge and if I can come in anywhere near our target, I'll be very happy as it'll be about half of what we've spent a month on groceries over the last 6mths or so  If I can keep it up then we could make lots of over payments and possibly even save some money too

I called Halifax... I've got no chance! Unless you can prove you have no money they can't do anything... they basically told me I need to watch what I am spending and then pay them...
worth a try but just gotta realise there's no easy way out of debt! xxx

Okay, just want to do a quick survey - if a friend asked "how much do you actually owe?!" (with a tone of shock/horror) would you:
- tell them how much you owe
- tell them it is none of their business

You could try writing a letter, stipulating your case and affirming how long its going to take you to clear the debt if fees are being added? Sometimes I find a letter gets through to the 'real customer service people' rather then the peeps on the phone. Sorry to hear they didn't want to help.
