Hi All….OMG you’re such a chatty bunch
A massive well done to everyone who’s got the new year off to such a great start….it doesn’t matter if you pay off £10 or £100…every penny counts! I’ve been at this for quite a few years now….in the early days I felt I was only scratching the surface but I kept at it and the pennies soon turned into pounds and the pounds turned into £100’s of pounds…and so it goes on. The fact that we're all here doing something about our future is enormous…never lose sight of that xx
Anyway enough of the waffle.... my HSBC statement arrived today so I can update my total….

I have my cc balance as it stands right now but I get a new statement next week so it may creep up with interest? Can someone give me advice? I am going to transfer part of the balance to a new 0% card (£1500 approx) next week aswell so is it best to pay that off first and keep transferring he balance to the 0% card as I go to save interest or just pay the remainder first?
I don't think I have a number yet as this is my 2nd post so any help will be great
Currently cc is 0/£3442.75 right now
Also put me down for weight loss I have lots to lose but I'm gonna say 30lbs for now and see how I get on x
I would pay off the remaining £2k off the interest card as the interest you pay will be less each monthSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Grrrr WHY do parents not reply to party invitations? 26 ive sent out BEFORE CHRISTMAS and 8 people have replied  the party is next sunday, I even put my moble number on so that they could text me for ease  obviously im just supposed to telepathically know if their little darling can attend and arrange the games and party bags appropriately
Its so rude, you would have thought with kids and parties of their own to organise they would know how annoying and difficult it isOff to a party today so might ask the mum if she could quietly point out the different children to me so I can mention to the parents of the kids that havent replied that I have no idea if their child is coming to lilys next week and at the minute they have no party bag or food and the eight kids I know are coming have about 4 turns each on the games :rotfl:

Good morning my lil DFW superstars!!!
Sorry I've not updated for a couple of days but I think I'm coming down with something and went to bed at 8pm last night. My throat feels like I've got a bag of dust in it and my tonsils are white... Nice one.
I have been having a good giggle though at all the posts on bras.
I still need to work out where I'm up to with my debt busting. I had to lend my sister the rest of my savings to go into the family business (although there is no risk as they have stock totalling approx £75k which is part of the probem). From the work we've been doing in the last week or so, the sales have really ramped up so it's just a question of time before I can have my money back. I've lent her £2919.17 so not a bad amount to have saved up in 3 months with Christmas in the middle! If I can get my money back at the end of the month then I can pay my car loan off over 2 years early and a month ahead of schedule!!! I've only got £65 to last until I get paid on 24th Jan but I'd already filled my car with fuel this week which should last me till payday and I'm trying to buy as little as possible on food. I lost a NSD on Wednesday as my dad rang me on my way back from work to say he was cooking and we had no oil so I had to get some... Worst thing is that he didn't even use it, he decided to grill the meat instead... not amused...!
I really need to get back on the fleabay thing pronto but I'm working for the family business again today and tomorrow and I'm not well and I'm really feeling sorry for myself aren't I?! Sorry!
On the plus side, I've already lost 1.4lbs in just 4 days using myfitnesspal but not giving my official total until my weigh in on Monday! Weekends are always bad for me...
Hope you're all doing well with your debt busting and weightloss. In just 11 short months we'll have NO debt left!!!! xxx
p.s. can you please make sure you put your totals in the format on the first page (think it's post 7 or 8?) so I can see both totals clearly and your member number. Ta very muchly peeps! xxxNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

Mf0u,
I know the feeling I went to bed at 9 then got rudely woken up 10 minutes by the phone and didn't sleep till 2! Hope your tonsils are feeling better.
I think with everything going on you are more then allowed to feel fed up at everything. Well done on the weight loss. Fitness pal is great for giving you that boost when you need it. It becomes as addictive as this thread.
Really to sum it all up, thank you for keeping us on track and devoting so much time and effort. Its great seeing every being really inspirational debt busting and it sounds like you have sometimes more then enough on your plate.
So personally I would like to say thank you for this thread and all the effort you put in. Its hugely inspirational and gives me a massive boost even on my down days.
Having just done my Spending diary I have the grand total of £71.03 to my name but I know this is mine. Now waiting for more to come in and more debt busting can begin.
Once again a massive thanks0 -

Great job Nickyannel, you're right on track! Keep it going
CreditCrunched - thats amazing! I've spent £9.43 (gave in and spent £1 on two cans of coke yesterday).
Webitha, great job with the no smoking - when you get to the stage when you are walking down the street and catch a whiff of someones second hand smoke and think to yourself, yuck thats disgusting, thats when you truly know you've kicked it.
Spent all morning selling another batch of virtual items on the online game, this time only getting to about 10 squids worth, which is another 10squids i didnt know i had. Now... to fix the sound on that computer.LBM Jan 2011 - £7933.95
