£790.15/£7873.87 ~130 which I think means I have paid off 10% of my debt :j

Been really busy on Ebay - think I have made £250 after fees and postage. Most of this is going towards our holiday in June, but it will mean I wont need to put the balance on a CC.

    Talking about bra's - I wish I was a 34D - I am a 36E and I hate my chest, would love to get a reduction as it makes me so top-heavy :(

Gemred, I must confess I've never made a duvet before. But it is on my list of things to do. I'd measure your duvet from seam to seam and you'll know for definite then :)

Just witnessed the vultures swarm in Mr W, first time ever. I went in specifically to stock up on bread for the freezer, rolls reduced to 12p each (grabbed 4) a cupcake for 32p and a fresh loaf of bread for 52p. Inbetween giving the SA my rolls and going to get the loaf that she said was now reduced, someone tried to nick my rolls and about 15 people appeared from nowhere grabbing bread that hadn't previously wanted. Nutters and really rude!

I have 20 bras it seems ranging from 30AA to 34DD, plus several different lingerie items and 10 bikinis. It's going to be a fun fleabay day.

Does anyone have Riverford? My order for this week just gone arrived, but doesn't show on my account nor does it show that I have paid and I haven't had an email to say worldpay are taking payment. Free box maybe? or has anyone else experienced this?

  • Haven't got any debt busting to report today however I sat down this evening and did my soa for the 1st time. Double and triple checked it. Upped a few things to in case I'd underestimated. Didn't include any child maitainence either as that is very unreliable (none since October at present) and yet I have a surplus of £114. Can't quite believe it, this is literally all the money I fritter away on nothing each month (or I did, until I joined all these challenges and kicked myself up the !!!!) as I never have it at the end of the month,I'm so ashamed, I could have sorted this debt already. Still, time now to change and improve, debt will be gone before the end of year!
Hope everyone else is getting on well x

Hi again :) loving the posts I am also inspired to tackle making a quilt! My mum has informed me that she has a book on how to make a quilt somewhere and I won a £10 Ikea voucher just before Xmas so when that arrives in the post I will be buying fabric :).

I have my cc balance as it stands right now but I get a new statement next week so it may creep up with interest? Can someone give me advice? I am going to transfer part of the balance to a new 0% card (£1500 approx) next week aswell so is it best to pay that off first and keep transferring he balance to the 0% card as I go to save interest or just pay the remainder first?

I don't think I have a number yet as this is my 2nd post so any help will be great :)

Currently cc is 0/£3442.75 right now

Also put me down for weight loss I have lots to lose but I'm gonna say 30lbs for now and see how I get on x
  • Still only spent 75p

Still making dinner from the shed load of butter beans, chick peas, spices and tinned toms I have!

Still got the christmas booze and my new company car is a diesel and is soooooooooooooo efficient!

    Happy days!

    #143 - Paid £670 / 16600 This month from my total.

Can I ask. Do we just show how much we have paid off or keep a running total when we update the figures? and does the OP work out the %?

New to all this but will be a great motivational tool..... and no debts from Christmas. woo hoo
Oh also paid £620 which would have reduced my total so #143 = 1290 / 16660

    Hi money free 2011,

The way you've done it in the second post is fine, it just needs to be BIG and BOLD and COLOURFUL so that the op (mf0u-1098 aka Jemma) can see it, and she'll also work out the % for you.
  • New total for me as I had another statement in this morning:)

    £211.45/£11051.73 #172

    Many thanks:)
