  • The electrician came today (the son of someone at work) and he fixed my lights and charged me £20 because I work with his Dad. That was a huge relief as I had visions of rewiring and hige bills....

I have switched energy supplier and am about £100 in credit on my account, so hopefully I'll get most of that back when they've done my final bill and then I can send it on over to my debt!

I'm going to a wedding in a few weeks and i got a dress in the M+S sale - reduced from £49 to £25, so I was pleased with that. I'll need to do a bit of slimming in to it though, as I'm really quite fat at the moment!

Well priced another job tonight....got to wait for planning to come through before can get going. Hopefully have a few different jobs on the go come summer, will get the debt cleared as soon as possible and onto my next chapter in life. Ultimate goal is enough work and savings to fall back on so one day i can leave the full time job and take the plunge and just go for it.
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.
  • Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Yeah cant wait for my first ever debt free birthday of my adult life OMG that sounds terrible!!!!

I have been in debt tho since my 18th birthday - the bank kindly called me on my 18th birthday & offered me a loan that was the beginning of a big long slippery slope which will have been almost 12 years by the time I pay this debt off!

Did you manage to catch the episode of horizon on BBC 2 the other day called the truth about exercise. It's still on iplayer. Really interesting. According to some sport scientists, all we need to do are three high intensity bursts of exercise (20 secs!) three times and only three times a week. Well worth watching. I'm doing the high intensity bursts along with my normal regime (just in case!) As well as being debt free at xmas I'm hoping to be slim, svelte and toned!! (we'll see!)x:j

ME TOO!!!! Which reminds me, I need to go upstairs and ZUMBA!!!:dance::dance:

Yes I caught that episode and it was really interesting wasn't it! It really made me think about what I eat when they tested the fat in his bloodstream after a full english fry up (not that I'm a fan of the fry up but I have other weaknesses....). Like you, I'm building the intensive bursts into my exercise regime but I'm not going to give up exercise altogether!

Happy Belated birthday Dolly Rocker hope you had a good one :)

Sorry to hear about Jakes-Dads job Jakes-Mum, as others have said at least you were prepared for it :)

My housemates fiance has just put my tv on the wall bracket I bought the other day, looks so much better up there shining down on me :D next I need to setup laptop on the desk (so I get out of bed in the morning!) and the sewing machine ooooh how nice it will be to be sewing again :D

Off to make some pasta with a jar of discovered at the back of the cupboard sauce :D not very interesting, but it'll do instead of takeaway :) NSD numero duo
