Morning all, car payment and loan gone out this morning so have another new total!
#304 £1391.86/£6962.20 (19.99%):j
Can't believe I'm so close to 20% already! Still got a few dd and additional payments to go out later in the month so will definitely get over 20% in the next few days. Looking at my spreadsheet I know I won't be able to repay nearly £7K, it's probably going to be more like 5K but it will be interesting to see how close I can get.
Had a bit of a costly weekend away, so won't have as much money to put on my barclaycard next month as I was planning too, but never mind. Plan to sell a few things on ebay if there are no car boots happening just yet, so that should help things.£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

I know that feeling all too well - massively overspent at Asda last week  which means we're scrapping around for spare cash for any essentials that we need to buy. It seems to happen most months for some reason and then we look so forward to next pay day we end up overspending again!£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

Really stuck with me what Rictus said... get your total debt and divide it by 300 and that's how much you need to pay a day to be debt free by christmas... for me it's £23... £23 that's it... it's a lot in the grand scheme of things but sounds like it's not impossible... gonna be my challenge

Kerri, I love houmous and roasted veg and falafel wraps – yum yum.
That 7 meals for a tenner is very humbling isn’t it? I spend hundreds on food every month whereas if I cut back I could pay more towards my debt or buy a new item of clothing every once in a while instead of wearing the same things to work all the time!0 -
I've started my own mini-challenge, to only spend £50 in total on food and random items each week. I know this is quite a bit of money for one person for one week, but I am spending way more than this each week at the moment. This doesn't include any D/D's that I have though, but must include petrol for visiting family.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Morning everyone:wave:! Feeling very positive today - got a plan for how I'm paying off debt, starting a new career and still enjoying life as I go along. I did a huge food shop last night (£50 ), but that will be enough for me and the OH for the weekend, me next week, plus some extra meat and some portions of chilli in the freezer to use at a later date.
I also cancelled my Ll0yds credit card today. I didn't have any long term debt on it, I was planning to use it to collect avios, but apparently they can't process payments over the phone or internet unless you have a current account with them:mad:. So now I have to go into the branch to pay the bill, and I've got rid of the card so it doesn't happen again. That leaves me with just 2 current accounts and one credit card :T.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner
