Quick question about the bingo - if you get the 200% bonus, do you have to spend it or can you just withdraw? (I see that you have to spend the £10 deposit to get cashback but not sure about the bonus, IYSWIM)

    Thanks x

    Hi HelenPie,
I had to stake my £10, then stake the £20 bonus. I didn't do the bingo because only 3 people win, instead I did small 10p-20p stakes on the slots/scratchcards. This way I maximised my probability of winning even if the winning amount was low.

Called Lloyds this morning and they said that they have frozen my interest, the interest I paid was for before the payment plan was setup, so that's ok then.

Had another payment come through from fleabay for £3.19, so another small update from me. I've managed about £70 odd from fleabay this month now, it all adds up so keep listing everyone :)

As soon as I'd spent my initial tenner my balance bumped up again by £20 but you have to spend it, it won't let you withdraw it (I tried :) )

EDIT: I just did good old fashioned bingo... I wouldn't have had a clue doing slots & scratchcards lol You did do very well kerri .. hurray!

Sorry I've not updated for a while. I get paid monthly so tend to make my payments in a chunk rather than in dribs and drabs. I have however just paid off a nice chunk and am now at:

    #211 £951.43/£3,950.00 24.09%

which brings my total debt under the £3k mark :)

Arg! I don't know what to do! I have been a member of a wine club for about two years, paying in £20 per month. The idea was that the £20 would be all I spent on wine. But that never actually happens, so I keep putting in the £20 and buying extra as well. Then when I get a box delivered I drink it much more quickly cos it is so easy to just open another bottle when you have one in, rather than go all the way to the shops. In addition, the bottles of wine work out at an average £6 per bottle - I know I can I can get decent bottles for less than that at the supermarkets. Not entirely sure why I'm keeping the account open, especially when there is £45 in the account right now that could be used to pay towards debts.

I think I just need some reassurance that keeping the account open is just silly!

You don't need us to tell you, I think you've already decided for yourself :) close the account and use the money to get debt free quicker. You can always start up with it again when you're debt free.

Okay, I was very brave and have cancelled the wine account! I'm going to keep £5 of the refund to buy myself a bottle from the normal shops, and pay the remaining £40 to my overdraft, taking me over the £1000 paid mark:j:j:j:j

    011 antonia1 £1035 / £3,895 26.57%

I really can't believe how much I've paid off in such a short space of time, and want to say thanks to everyone on here for helping to keep me motivated :T.

Next, to ebay to learn about selling (never done it before).
