Which one did you go on kerri, I did the cash back last time and it worked so would be tempted again, all money off our debts.
Well not a good spending day for me yesterday, myself and some friends are going to a ladies day so had to buy everyone's tickets on the cc, total of £140, (this was because I suggested it) however i paid my £28 straight off. Then a holiday cottage weekend with the family in march, I said 'oh its ok I’ll book it' doh another £300 on cc. grrrr not happy.
However I know I’ll get this money back when we go next month, and with getting paid today I paid £140 straight off, so thats our share of the holiday cottage plus an extra £40. Will update my totals later.I will stop spending on things I don't need
Lloyds TSB CC - £3577/£3650, HSBC CC - £2425/£2621, VIRGIN CC - £5349/£5405, BARCLAY'S CC - £3700, HALIFAX - £109/£199

Hi Everyone,
#003 reporting in with an update! This month's payments have cleared today so new total is:
#003 £4874 / £12,459
I haven't had much time to post but have been reading as often as I can - congratulations to everyone working away at the debt reduction, the totals being posted are fantastic and everyone is doing so well! And a big thanks as ever to Jemma for keeping everything going.
My outstanding debts are now loans which I can't make small payments on, instead I have to save to pay them off, but I'm busy away in the background doing this and have made a good start. I'm not going to add these savings to my debt paid off amount yet though until I have actually paid the loans off but I'm hoping for a sprint finish with some big overpayments at the end. This is the year we'll be debt free:j!

Yay, hello CW2!!!:wave::wave: Lovely to hear from you especially as you're doing soooooo well :T
I don't know whether you read some earlier posts from today but I have a loan that I cannot overpay but HelenPie and Superheavy have told me that I can get a new loan which allow overpayments (these are now standard apparently) and it may work out cheaper as everytime you overpay then the interest goes down a bit like with a credit card. I'll obviously need to factor in the APR (old loan is 7.9% but new is 6.2% :j) but take into account the early redemption penalty of two months interest. I'm going to speak to someone in the branch on Saturday to work out whether it's better for me to do this but hopefully should save me some money!!!
