The "Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2012" challenge - PART 2!!!

Yay, hello CW2!!!:wave::wave: Lovely to hear from you especially as you're doing soooooo well :T
I don't know whether you read some earlier posts from today but I have a loan that I cannot overpay but HelenPie and Superheavy have told me that I can get a new loan which allow overpayments (these are now standard apparently) and it may work out cheaper as everytime you overpay then the interest goes down a bit like with a credit card. I'll obviously need to factor in the APR (old loan is 7.9% but new is 6.2% :j) but take into account the early redemption penalty of two months interest. I'm going to speak to someone in the branch on Saturday to work out whether it's better for me to do this but hopefully should save me some money!!!

Hi Jemma ! Thanks so much for this - that's a really good idea! I did so well with overpayments on my credit card, I hate having to save so this could be a solution - will give my bank a call tomorrow I think and see what the options are. Thanks again!! xx

Kerri_dfw - best of luck to your sister - hope everything goes well for her
Gemma - I agree with you and the others - you need to tell your boss you can't do anymore and he needs to find a solution to all the work. There's only so much 1 person can do without either scr**wing up the work or making yourself ill which just isn't worth it - life's too short. I know it's difficult conversation to have, but if you tell them you can't do it, then it's their responsibility to sort out the solution, not yours. Good luck!Pay debt in 2012 #278 £2347/£5364

#031 revised debt £0 / £7145. (Yes it has increased:eek:)
The main reason this has increased is I have now included the overdraft, I was originally going for the cc's but have now included everything.
I have also been tweaking the budget to balance savings with debt, otherwise we will always bash stuff on the credit cards and this is going to stop!!
I shall return at the weekend with any crafty payments:D
My finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -
Just in case anyone has missed it!

well it was less sleazy than selling my knickers I guess. I'll put that towards my debts when it comes throughDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
