Well, we have nearly made it to pay day! But we wont be making many debt payments this month! I am paying £1800 off the mortgage arrears this month but they aren't included in my hideous total so no update. OH is self employed and this months invoices are total pants so we will only be paid a third of his usual wage next month.
I am now on a mish to make some extra money (I may even sell knickers!) so I am working on council tax rebanding, credit card charges refund, a bit of PPI and the OH tax return!!! On the plus side my tax return showed that I am due a £4 tax rebate so it's not all bad!
Oh and I have made £40 on Ebay....its going to be a long month!Trying hard...failing miserably

I'm sure there are other people that have done worse than sell their knickers!
Oh and I was selling my sisters bras, she's had a breast augmentation so they don't fit anymore and I've pinched all the ones I like. Don't worry they were freshly laundered when sent to different parts of the world
No more debt busting from me today, but my housemate cooked us leftovers from the meet the parents bbq she cooked for yesterday, her vegan food is absolutely lush mmmmm.
I promise no more talk of pants

Good morning everybody
I have paid a little more towards my debt so doing a wee update. Some of you might remember I had a car service bill of approx £300 to pay this month so was going to put it on the credit card. However, because I left my cards at home I had to call my mum and ask her to pay it over the phone so I could get my car back!!! She did and I then transferred the money from my bank account to her when I got home so never used my credit card!!! Now am completely skint for rest of month esp. as had to take my cats to vets for their boosters and that was £82! Again, I might have put it on my credit card if I had it with me but I didn't.
Has really made me wonder though, all these times I have put something on the credit card because it's a high payment of something 'unexpected' why don't I just put it on my bank account and then try to deal with what I have left?! If I don't have it then I don't have it- simple! Sorry if this sounds really simple and obvious to most people but I have lived using my bank account for bills and living (with way too much frittering money away on nothing) with the credit card being for extras and big payments. NO MORE!!! :money::money::money:
I get a decent wage which is more than enough to live frugally on and pay off debts at the same time so am in a way better position than so many people I read about on this forum so am massively grateful for that. Feel like I've had another wee lightbulb moment although I still have some way to go, it's a step in the right direction :j
Ok, sorry for rabbiting, get carried away chatting :shhh: Here is my update Jemma, many thanks
#056 £680.59/£9,793.81 (6.95%)
Am off to do some :money: stuff, so much to do! Hope you all have awesome days
