    #66 2019 MFW £90/£7500
also trying to get 6k savings this year  have this by April . yay :)
  • Have to do the last food shop of the month today and I have £24 left in the groceries pot. Erk. Fortunately have a huge chicken and veg curry and rice in freezer, which will do at least three meals for hubby and I (although I'll be trumping like anything at work :o), and some other bits that will do the kids for at least three meals. Oh, and a fridge full of bits of veg that is destined to be soup for some lunches. Still need to get pack-up bits and fruit and so on. It will be an interesting challenge to see if I can do it without going overbudget.

Hope tomorrow goes well, I remember how scared I was going back after having the kids, in case everything had changed, or I'd forgotten it all! After five minutes I quickly realised nothing had changed at all really and I remembered so much more than I thought I would have (and I'd had TEN YEARS off! )

  • Am I the only person here today? :p Grocery shop completed- £20.38! :jThat leaves three quid for bread later in the week. I am a domestic goddess of frugality. (Well, if you exclude the overspending that led to the £50 grand of debt, of course. :o)
